    En el hermoso pueblo de Atsipopoulo, a pocos kilómetros del centro de Rethymno, se encontrará con la tradicional casa de huéspedes 'Villa Myrtia', que es una villa de 150 metros cuadrados con piscina privada y puede alojar hasta 8 personas.

    Los propietarios han respetado la arquitectura tradicional de Creta y han utilizado materiales indígenas como la piedra y la madera. Sin embargo, han construido una casa muy cómoda, ya que es el punto más importante de las vacaciones.

    Le esperan para experimentar la hospitalidad, la tradición y la historia de Creta, así como momentos agradables de relajación y serenidad.

    Villa Myrtia es una de las villas de dos gemelos que se encuentra en el centro del pueblo de Atsipopoulo, que puede satisfacer todas sus primeras necesidades. Supermercados, panaderías, supermercados y carnicerías, cafeterías, restaurantes, cajeros automáticos y farmacias están a poca distancia (a 200 metros de la entrada de las villas). Sin embargo, al entrar desde la entrada de las villas, todo el ambiente cambia, ya que nuestras villas se ubican dentro de la naturaleza en un entorno tranquilo e ideal para relajarse. El centro de Rethymno también está a 5 kilómetros y 10 minutos en coche.

    Villa Myrtia está construida en estilo casita, mide 150 m2 y tiene una piscina privada y balcón. Además, puede alojar a 8 personas en 4 habitaciones. Dos de ellos tienen una cama doble y el resto dos tienen dos camas individuales cada uno.

    En la planta baja encontrará la sala de estar con chimenea, una cocina totalmente equipada y un comedor. También incluye los primeros dos dormitorios, un baño y un baño.

    La planta superior consta de dos dormitorios, un baño, un baño y un balcón con vistas al pueblo tradicional cercano y la naturaleza. Todas las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado.

    La villa está equipada con televisión vía satélite, reproductor de DVD, reproductor de CD y radio, cafetera, microondas, tostadora, lavavajillas, lavadora, caja de depósito, secador de pelo y cuna.

    El exterior de la villa incluye una piscina privada 27, una mesa de comedor y asientos para las 8 personas, así como 8 hamacas para que pueda disfrutar del sol cretense. Además, cada villa tiene sus propias instalaciones de barbacoa para su uso personal.

    La ubicación de las villas es ideal para explorar toda nuestra isla. Ubicado en el centro de la parte norte de Creta, a solo 3 kilómetros de la autopista, ofrece fácil acceso desde los aeropuertos locales (Heraklion y Chania) y la oportunidad de visitar desde las grandes ciudades de la isla hasta las playas más pequeñas del norte y del sur. parte de Creta.

George is really kind and helpful. He helped make it a wonderful family holiday. Great location with lots of bars, cafes and a children’s play park in easy walking distance. Good cooking facilities and very comfy beds. We recommend the evening meal cooked by George’s mum.

George, the property manager, was friendly, super helpful and always kept in touch. The villa was everything we hoped for— attractive, comfortable, family-friendly and clean. We feel lucky to have stayed there!

Lovely villa, great location

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Myrtia. The villa is situated in a great location with all the amenities you need a short walk away and a short drive to the lovely city of Rethymno.The villa was delightful. Clean, with plenty of space and a fabulous pool. Thanks also to George and family for the generous food and excellent service. Will definitely come again.

The property is wonderful. Great coffee around the corner. Wonderful restaurants a short stroll away. Pool was terrific! George and his mother and sister took GREAT care of us. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Villa Myrtia. From start to finish, the experience was excellent.George and his family were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our visit. This personal touch really made a difference.The villa itself was super clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated that it was professionally cleaned twice during our 10-day stay, which is fantastic service.We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the location. The proximity to the locals in the village was a big plus, giving us an authentic experience. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance.We would highly recommend Villa Myrtia to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean, and authentic stay!

This was truly a 5 star experience from booking onwards with a beautiful villa , in a lovely little village, and with a wonderful host.From initial booking George shared lots of details about the villa, the village, and the area and this really whet our appetite. He was there to meet us on arrival and always available during the vacation though we didn't have any issues. He brought us food gifts from his mother 2-3 times which was a wonderful gesture. The house was beautiful, the final house of 3, off the main village road but so set back (maybe 80 mtrs) it was wonderfully secluded and peaceful . The house is modern, kept spotlessly clean, and has great facilities including air con , a large pool, sun beds and a large outdoor eating area. We also shared our vacation with a couple of very friendly stray cats who got very well fed during our stay .The kitchen was well supplied with all the normal facilities including a dishwasher and nespresso machine . A safe deposit box was also provided. The village is small but nice , a lovely bakery 10m from front gate , a decent supermarket 50 m away, and two nice local restaurants with authentic cuisine and another cluster a mile up the road in Prines.It was only a 10 min drive into beautiful Rethymo which certainly exceeded expectations and only 15 minutes to lovely open beaches and of course a similar drive into the hills. The Cretan culture and hospitality is unsurpassed and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely villa

Lovely villa. Close to everything you need but still feels peaceful. Excellent facilities and well.managed. George was always available, without being intrusive. Nice not to be in a very touristy area. The only thing to be aware of is that you are some way from the (very nice) beaches, so need to drive.or take a bus.

Great Villa & host

George communicates quickly before and during the stay. He made sure we were set then let us be. The villa was spotless and very well appointed. We didn’t cook or BBQ but it was available if we wanted to. Local amenities are super and trip to town short and easy. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing two week stay in the Myrtia Villa accomodated by the most amazing host George who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the most of our time. The villa is exactly as pictured and described and had all the necessary amenities for a family visit. It is located on a private driveway with plenty of parking in the heart of the village.The village is small but has plenty of character and the old town of Rethimno and the beaches of Petres and Episkopi are a short car or bus journey. We opted for the heating in the pool and it ensured we could enjoy it throughout the stay no matter the weather. This is a gem of a property and host and we will be recommending to family and friends if they wish to visit Crete.

Excellent villa, pool and location. We liked that we could walk to the local shops and tavernas. Everything was clean and ready on arrival and refreshed half way through the week which was lovely. Our grandchildren spent many hours in the pool! Overall an excellent stay including the gifts from George and his mother. We would highly recommend this property.

Fastastic week in great villa

We had a wonderful week in Villa Myrtia. The villa is situated in the middle of a small village with bakery, pizza restaurant and grocery stores just a short walk away. The drive to Rethymno is about 10 minutes and we went there a few times in the week. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in Rethymno with some superb fish restaurants on the harbour. The villa was cleaned throughout including fresh towels and sheets twice during our 10 day stay which was much appreciated. George and his family were very welcoming and were on call when we needed them.We would recommend the villa for a family as all of us had a great time.

The perfect place

We can’t thank George and his mother enough for making our stay in Crete more perfect. It is a beautiful villa, tranquil and relaxing and perfectly situated for exploring Crete. There are stores, bakeries and restaurants within easy walking distance. We chose to have George’s mother cook us dinner on our last night and it was amazing . Thank you George for quickly responding to all our questions and needs. We appreciated your suggestions and your help with the car rental.

We had a great stay! The villa is beautifully decorated, very clean & homely. It is nicely located in the middle of the village, so very easy to pop in & get supplies but also very quiet & private. The hosts are very attentive & helpful! The homemade goodies are delicious thank you! It is easy to drive or catch a bus into the main town. The house is fully kitted out with everything needed. My only suggestion would be for more storage in the bedrooms for clothes.

An amazing villa

We have just returned from an amazing first trip to Crete. We had the most amazing stay and will definitely return. The villa was perfect in every way. There is nothing we would change. George our host was amazing extremely helpful and welcoming. He welcomed us on our first day with a traditional Greek dish and drink that his mother had prepared Also during the week he treated us to a beautiful dessert also prepared by his mother. All amenities are very close with shops restaurants and bakery. We would highly recommend this Villa.

What a special villa

The villa is in the middle of the village, next door to a bakery/coffee shop. There’s a bar on the other side. A good supermarket is <5 mins walk away. More supermarkets, butchers are a short drive away. When in the villa you wouldn’t know there’s a bustling village just metres away, as it’s v quiet.

Excellent location

Stayed for two weeks and couldn’t fault it. George and his family were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. The villa is located in the village with everything you need and a bus stop outside the villa entrance where you can buy your tickets from the local bakery. Up into the next village there are several restaurants and a pharmacy, you could walk up or jump on a bus. The bus also goes down to the harbour which is absolutely beautiful at night and has that Greek atmosphere which we loved. We also went on trips around the island where you can book at the harbour or ring from the villa where George left all the information you need. I would definitely go back again to this villa again

Beautiful villa, wonderful hosts, family friendly!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Villa Myrtia. The villa itself has a comfortable four bedrooms with a nicely equipped kitchen and shared living space. It has all the modern amenities and the grounds are lovely - a beautiful pool and lounge area, bbq, plus large balcony perfect for having morning coffee or evening wine. The Villa is a two minute walk to bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. George met us at 2 am as our flight was delayed and his mother made us sandwiches and a pie so we could have something to eat if we were hungry. George’s mother makes incredible food and she prepared a meal for our family the last night of our stay. It was one of our favorite meals in Greece, I highly recommend having her prepare food. They were wonderful hosts and shared all the best spots to eat and visit during our stay.

This place was absolutely amazing! The pictures are true as shown. It is a beautiful home and the family is amazing and very welcoming. George was fantastic during the entire process. Had an answer for everything and a guy to help you with whatever you needed. The house was beautiful inside, very clean, comfortable with air conditioning as needed and great showers! Highly recommend the home cooked delivered meal option as it was absolutely amazing. Not only was it delicious the presentation the warmth and sincerity was just lovely. You felt very welcomed into their family. This is their family business that runs like you are part of their family unique experience. The town is quaint and local with options of food and coffee close by, but don’t be afraid to adventure out. We cannot wait to come back to this beautiful home thank you George and your family!

Beautiful, well appointed villa in a great location for families with teenagers/young adults

Having read previous reviews, our expectations were high and we weren’t disappointed. We were a group of six - my husband and I and four late teen/adult children. I was after a villa that would provide a cool, comfortable and welcoming base for us as we explored Rethymno. I can only repeat what other reviewers have said - the villla was terrific. We also wanted to be located somewhere that would be easy for everyone to experience a bit of local life outside of the tourist traps - buying food from the local shops, taking the bus to and from Rethymno, having a coffee in one of several coffee shops and watching the neighbourhood. For this, the location was brilliant. George also helped to arrange a day trip to Samaria Gorge which was a highlight of our entire trip to Greece.

Lovely villa with the personal touch from the owners!

Just returned from staying at Villa Myrtia. The villa is spacious & spotlessly clean. George was there to greet us on arrival with Raki and a type of pie his mother had made. He was very helpful and arrives quickly to help if there are any problems. There is everything you could need for your stay locally within the village. We did not hire a car as we just wanted a chilled out week, however it was very easy to buy a bus ticket from the bakery near the villa to go into Retymno where there are lots of tourist type shops and many restaurants. We also ate locally where the choice of food is less but beautifully cooked! George brought a dessert midweek, also made by his mother and even a parting gift made by his sister, which was much appreciated. All in all we had a great stay! Excellent.
