"Our stay delivered a wonderful and picturesque getaway. The luxurious rooms held a touch of romance and the views were so pretty even in the depths of winter. Exploring the house and the gardens was lovely. Being so close a visit to Yering station for a deliciou wine tasting made for another unexpected and easy to fit in activity. Chateau Yering lived up to any expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying here. The thoughtful welcome gift in our room was a truly unexpected...

"We loved staying as a family for a weekend getaway. Their staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and cozy, but we only needed it for sleep. The breakfast buffet was good. We also used the indoor pool with the kids. It would be nice if it were a bit warmer for winter. Otherwise, it was nice to stay close to the shopping center to do some shopping and eat a variety of food. The parking had good space as well."

"As an older woman travelling alone it was wonderful to feel so safe from the secure brightly lit car park, to the fact it was the safest and most comfortable I have felt while travelling alone. Staff were friendly and so helpful. Bathroom was spotless. Will definately be my go to on return trips."

"Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. TV had many apps and allowed streaming from your own device so entertainment wasn't an issue. Plenty of parking onsite and the laundry facilities are good. There's no onsite food options, although there's fast food a few hundred metres away. Housekeeping is hit and miss, might be okay for a short stay, but I was there for a month and frequently had to go to reception to ask for coffee refills, toilet paper, water etc. and room wasn't cleaned....

"The room was comfortable, clean & nicely furnished but the shower floor & tiles were quite mouldy. The downstairs toilets needed a good clean too. A good breakfast was available but the eggs were cold. The restaurant meal and staff was excellent The hospitality staff and chef were exceptionally good & went out of their way to provide excellent service, as we were having a birthday celebration there. Every aspect of our event was well planned and managed & everything went well."

"We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and couldn't have been more impressed. The property is set amongst beautiful natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape from the city. The spacious room was spotless, comfortable, and offered lovely views of the gardens and estate. The lodge is located on a large estate near the gateway to the Yarra Valley wine region, making it an ideal base for exploring the area."

"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."
