"Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful family vacation here! The home is modern, clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay, which is so helpful if you’re coming from far away. The location and view are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The property manager is kind, prompt and very helpful. Our three young children enjoyed the bunk beds and the outdoor area. "What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."
