This hotel was a huge disappointment. From the moment we walked in, the room smelled strongly of sewage, making it extremely unpleasant to be in. We had booked two rooms, and one of them — for some reason — was an accessible room, even though we hadn’t requested one. I'm not sure why we were assigned it, but it was in terrible condition. The bathroom had a shower that was full of black mold. It was shocking and completely unacceptable for any hotel to allow guests to stay in such conditions.
When I approached the front desk to ask for a room change, I was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. No apology, no real effort to resolve the issue. Later, the manager came with me to inspect the room. Instead of taking the situation seriously, she claimed the black mold was just something stuck in the caulking — clearly trying to downplay a serious hygiene issue.
To make matters worse, she offered us two glasses of champagne on the rooftop, as if that would make up for being placed in a moldy, foul-smelling room. It felt dismissive, unprofessional, and completely inadequate given the circumstances.
The entire experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and far below what you'd expect for the price. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and how our concerns were handled made this one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I would never return and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
