My TV never cooperated, the A/C acted more like a fan, and you can tell the building has been around for a while. But here’s why I’m giving it four stars instead of two: the room was clean, the rates were very affordable, and every staff member I dealt with was genuinely kind. When I accidentally ruined my room key, they unlocked my room right away and brought me a new key...

"This property is going through transitions with ownership. I called to say we would check in around 9 pm and it sounded like they would cancel our room so we switched our plans arrived at 5:30. Came in to check in and a guest interrupted and said the bedding was dirty & blood on it so they needed another room. We struggled with check in, finally got everything communicated agreed two night stay, got 1 key. Room was clean yet smelled of cigarettes, we were told nonsmoking room. We went to music...

"Poor breakfast, with a couple of foods, including sausages, not available and juice machine not working. Also, tub drained very slowly with about 3” water remaining when we checked out. Staff wasn’t very friendly when questioned about juice machine by my wife! Otherwise, location of the hotel for needs was great!!"

"We liked the spacious rooms and the elegant decor! When paying to stay in a hotel, you would hope that it would feel special and fun to be there. This hotel gave us a good price, a beautiful room, and a spacious room! There is no bath which I would have liked but they have a very large walk in shower that is newly remodeled! "We always stay at Double Tree. The service is great and is very clean place. But this time when we checked in the guy was not friendly at all. I tried to talk to him but he just ignored me and gave me my room key. Not impressed."
