"Great hotel, lovely rooms, great sleep on a very comfy bed and pillows. The hand wash and lotion on the ground floor bathroom is lovely, would prefer to see this in the en-suites"

"we only stayed here for 5 nights but property had everything we needed the kitchen was well equipped with a hob, microwave/oven, dishwasher and washing machine so ideal for longer stays. bathroom had walk in shower with good water pressure. Hotel is situated in the center of the town a short walk from the train station and close to shops,restaurants, pubs and also about 10/15 min walk to Brighton pier "

"Excellent and cooked to order breakfast with many options. Cocktail bar has some very interesting choices too. We stayed in the David Bowie shrine suite which is fabulous and fun for any fan but the bed is very “Low” so bear that in mind if you have an issue with knees or back. Decor - loved the blind and shower curtain in particular. This booking was a surprise from my husband and I couldn’t have been more delighted."

Only downside of our stay was the evening bar menu which was limited and if you are staying for a few days could be more varied.For the price charged you would expect a fridge in your room and the safe to be more easily accessible rather than on the floor. Breakfast was excellent and good service."

"It was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The location was great, and it was quiet and peaceful, even when the rest of the city was having a good time. My room was called Indulgence, and I was lucky to have a view, with large windows, of the sea and the small park outside. This proved to be extra useful as I wasn't feeling well one of the days and spent it fully in the room. "The lift was out of order on my second morning when I was leaving. I had four bags with me which in total were too heavy to take down four flights of stairs in one trip. (I'm 76 and was on my own). Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park. Room 407.
