Watch the sun rise and set over the hills and ocean from a stunning hill top setting with a swimming pool. Enjoy magnificent views in a perfect rural location between Nelson and Abel Tasman. At the end of a long drive, the farm is quiet and secluded. The cottage is modern, spacious and comfortable, set up with everything you need. Self contained and private plus friendly hosts on hand with local knowledge to help you get the most from your stay.
A true home from home, the 2 bedroom cottage is very well equipped to make your stay easy and relaxing. Perfect location for easy trips to historic Nelson city, New Zealand’s sunshine capital and three National Parks.
Just minutes away is Rabbit Island with miles of golden beach, BBQ and shaded picnic areas. Mountain walks, river swims, wine tasting and the Great Taste Bike Trail are all on the doorstep. Take a boat trip on the pristine waters at Abel Tasman, or an alpine walk at Nelson Lakes or an adventure in untamed Kahurangi. Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool, outside patio and garden areas with seating for sun and shade and unbeatable views of Tasman Bay and beyond.
Stay cosy for a winter break with underfloor heating throughout and electric blankets. Rainbow ski field is just a day trip away.

Master bedroom with king size bed, second bedroom with twin single beds, plus extra single mattress available for 5th person. Bathroom with walk in shower. Kitchen area with microwave/convection oven, induction hob, dish washer, washing machine, fridge freezer. No built in full oven.

This is a lovely place in perfect condition with beautiful surroundings. The host gave us great restaurant recommendations (had dinner at the oldest pub in New Zealand). Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely Amazing

Had a gew queries sent email answered instantly, Easy payment options set in place also advised of when to pay by and refund options highlighted for us as well. Close to everything and also in the country very peaceful, relaxing, Tui's singing in the back ground, really beautiful sunny place luxury at its best.

Stayed for 3 nights in winter and property was cosy and warm. All as advertised and great to have a well stocked kitchen with all extras that are needed. Cooking oil, salt and pepper, various tea’s etc, much appreciated.

Amazing Location, Amazing Property

What more could you ask for..... spotlessly clean top quality accommodation that is well equipped with everything you could need. The pool was the icing on the cake. We swam every day in the warm water. Our host (Gina) met us on arrival, introduced us to the property and local area. She was always available if we needed anything extra. We will definitely come back and stay again very soon. Love this place!

Relaxing and peaceful

We had a lovely week staying at the cottage. It is very well appointed and the pool a bonus. It was close to so many attractions that we visited. Gina was very welcoming and nothing was a problem. We left very relaxed and highly recommended the cottage.

Loved our stay at Brightwater. Well appointed and plenty of room for 4 of us. Lovely views out towards Nelson and the pool was an added bonus.Easy drive to Nelson, Mapua, Motueka and the start of the Abel Tasman track. Would definately stay again 😊
