Gated Estate- Lake, Vineyard and Barn View Cottage

Private cottage with all the comforts of home! Fully equipped kitchen. Gated gorgeous 6 acre property. Hot tub right out your bedroom slider, on your back deck, overlooking the lake. Back deck also has a table for outdoor dining, lounge chairs and outdoor couch. Private front courtyard has BBQ and also a deck with outdoor comfy chairs and ottomans, to put your feet up, and enjoy the views of the front vineyard, barn with mules and goats, vegetable garden and lake. Casper bed is beyond comfortable. Sofa bed (in living room) also has a comfortable therapeutic mattress. You won’t want to leave!

This was such a nice place to stay. We were there for a week and had everything we needed. The bed was nice and fluffy and the jaccuzi was nice and hot! Loved watching the duck family.

After traveling throughout California my wife and I found this property the most relaxing. Overlooking a lake on one side and vineyard on the other we found the location felt like we were at a 5 star resort. The landscaping was professionally finished and peaceful with running water throughout. The hot tub overlooking the lake was very tranquil. There was kayaks for use on lake but it was a little cool in April. An outside grill and fully stocked kitchen gave us option to cook our meals and enjoy in relaxing setting outside or in. The bed was comfortable with heating pad on mattress. The host was very responsive to any question we had. Thanks Melinda and Jerry for sharing your property with us.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a truly majestic feel. Melinda is a fantastic host—so thoughtful and communicative—and Jerry is incredibly kind. The grounds are perfect for a peaceful stroll, and having a market nearby made everything so convenient. The unit itself is well-equipped with all the essentials, and I especially loved the large TV in the living room and the super comfortable bed. I highly recommend this place and we will surely be back to stay again!

My partner and I loved this place! Came here just for the weekend and wished we could stay longer. The property is beautiful and unique, and it was a treat to see all the animals and friendly dog. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice getaway!

What a beautiful property! We loved waking up, making a cup of coffee in the keurig (coffee provided by the hosts), and walking outside to watch the birds. During the hot days, we loved taking a dip in the pool. And at night, we relaxed in the hot tub looking up at the stars! We will definitely be returning!

This is our third (or fourth) time staying at Melinda's property. This is our GO TO spot when visiting family in Mendocino County. Melinda offers a very clean, comfortable place to stay and allows our kitty cat to stay with us which is huge. Thank you Melinda for always being consistent with what you offer. We love it!!

We stayed at Redwood Valley at the end of a three week trip around California and it couldn't have been more perfect for a relaxing break. The property has everything you need and is close to some amazing scenery. Whether you want to have an active outdoor holiday or just chill and relax- you can easily do both here. The pool was great for cooling down in the afternoon and the hot tub for relaxing late at night to look at the stars. The kitchen is well kitted out for home cooking to go along with that craft beer or local wine you've bought. We came all the way from Ireland and couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. Thank you Jerry and Melinda.

Amazing spot with a seamless checkin. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal. We were a gifted a great bottle of wine for our visit. The hot tub was great a great addition. Very private and comfortable spot. Would book again

My wife and I stayed at Melinda's cottage for four nights while I had business nearby in Ukiah. It was a comfortable, well-appointed residence that provided a nurturing time away. Melinda was helpful and responsive as needed but otherwise not to be seen. She kindly mailed several clothing items to us that we left in the cottage.

From the first time I saw the listing I knew it would be great. We arrived to a welcome gift of a bottle of wine, and locally grown eggs, and Melinda even brought over homemade zucchini muffins one day. We were able to take our granddaughter for walks near the lake, to see the mules & goats, and went swimming in the pool. The Lake Cottage, and the whole property is beautiful, and had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!

This was a little oasis in Redwood Valley, so nice we ended up hanging out here more than we anticipated. Very clean and classy, the complimentary bottle of wine was a fantastic touch! The pool was so fun and the hot tub with morning coffee was a great way to start out days. The kids loved petting the goats and horses. Thanks Melinda!

I had the most incredible stay at this property that I simply cannot stop raving about. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience that surpassed all my expectations. I cannot recommend it enough! First and foremost, the property itself was absolutely stunning. It was evident that the owners had poured their heart and soul into creating this serene and inviting experience. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by a sense of warmth and elegance. The attention to detail was remarkable, with every corner adorned with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect environment to relax and unwind. Whether I was lounging on the back patio, enjoying the beautiful views from the kitchen window, or reading by the lake, It was like a dream! What truly set this property apart, however, was the exceptional host. From the moment I made the reservation, they were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and gracious. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfection. The combination of the incredible property, the gracious host, and the meticulous attention to detail created a getaway that I will cherish forever. We loved, loved this property!! Was super clean and well maintained with great amenities. The property itself gated. There was a great deck with a hot tub overlooking what looked like a small lake😁. We met the owners and they were great!! 10/10 would absolutely stay here again and they would be my first recommendation!!!
