"Tired room. Clean but musty damp smell. I suspect this is nothing to do with the great housekeeping staff and more to do with the fabric of the building - old and in need if a refresh. The carpets in the common area were worn, frayed and really loose making suitcase pulling difficult! Moved rooms ..."

Best Western Plus Chateau Inn Sylvan Lake
"Our room was not cleaned twice, no parking in hotel lot 3 nights out of 4, breakfast staff were quite rude. Hot tub cold multiple times. Children running down the hall at 6am screeching"

"Our stay with the Sandman Red Deer hotel was very disappointing. We had booked a 2 queen bedroom (4 guests) but was assigned a king bedroom with a pullout sofa bed.
