"The place reminded me of a private motel. It’s was spacious 2 beds two fridges 2 bathrooms, a loft and it was clean. Not my standers of clean but it had No bugs. The noise level is where it’s like being in a motel. You hear everything from everyone. Alarm clocks to doors shutting, and laughing/talking from other huts. You also hear a lot of road traffic. "I've stayed at this chain before, and I think it's getting run down. This stay confirmed that. Elevator was tiny and old. Didn't feel safe. Room was spacious, but I DO NOT like the bathroom sink in the same area as the bedroom. This needs to be kept separate. I always complain about a tub/shower combo being neither functional nor safe - that's the case here. Breakfast - meh. Not bad, not great. It's ok. Don't think I'll return to La Quinta ANYWHERE."

We asked for clean sheets, and as we stripped the bed, there were hairs all over the mattress pad, and another hair in the clean sheets! We ended up cancelling our second night, and ate an $80 cancellation fee. Also, there was a warning about bugs getting in from the nearby river."
