"The property was clean and well kept. I wish we had a few days to stay, but we were just stopping to break up the trip home from a beach vacation. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe as it was surrounded by what seemed to be a family neighborhood. Next time we will stay for a few days and take in Shreveport."

"We have family in the area, so we need to find a rental in a safe area to stay during visits. This older home was perfect for our needs. If you are expecting modern and hotel like accommodations- this isnt for you. If you want a homey atmosphere with the basics available in a safe area, then this is perfect. I could have cooked a full meal but wasnt necessary for our stay. The coffee bar and calmness of the front porch in the morning was our favorite. While the following did not effect our...

"We came to town for our family reunion at Melvin’s Landing. The property’s location and proximity to the reunion activities, Starbucks, Walgreens and the airport was perfect!"

"This upstairs unit in a quadruplex is a quaint 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. It was very clean and well maintained. It was very suitable for what we needed - a comfortable plash to crash after a long day at a convention. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly. There are only 2 minor drawbacks - the parking is weird and the fact that is a very well lit area. If you aren't used to sleeping with light coming in the window at all hours, then you may need a sleep mask. "
