"The hotel is situated in the middle of the Dual St, where I can go to either the west end (for seeing sunset) or east end (for seeing sunrise) of the street with almost the same distance. The buildings of the hotel have some history and in the colonial style, which I like very much. The garden provides an excellent place for breakfast and wine tasting."

"My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn for 5 nights for his birthday. It's an adult only bed and breakfast on Duval St. in Key West. What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for walking to almost anything you want to do in Key West, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, and our favorite was room #11, the Gecko Suite. It was large with a king bed and private hot tub. The other room we had was #10 which was smaller but still very cute with its own...

"Can’t beat the location. Room was great. My only complaint is the towels were thin and cheap. Definitely bring headphones or earplugs….you can hear others moving around and traffic outside. Had to park about 1/2 mile away but that’s expected with the location."

"The property is very quaint and clean. The pool was much smaller than expected but clean. Breakfast provided was cooked to order and very tasty. My only reason for not having 5 stars is there was food left in our mini fridge from previous guests and I wished there were bicycles available to guests. Also was hoping that there would be fresh fruit available such as bananas, mango or apples. Would we stay here again? Yes we would"

"Well, the room description doesnt state that there are a lot of very steep stairs to climb. I currently have mobility issues related to a fracture to my tibia i sustained last December. I called the resort on the way there to ask about a cancelation related to parking possibly being an issue. Note that at that time i wasnt even aware of the stairs to get to the room. I am revognized as handicap by the ADA. Keep in mind also the description of the property list the room we booked as handicap...

"Best part of this hotel was the location. My husband was fishing this trip and it was a 2 minute walk to the boat. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. The amenities that you pay a resort fee of $54 a night were meh. My husband did go to the pool one day but none of the other offerings were interesting. We had friends that stayed as well and they paid an additional $44 a day for parking. We got breakfast every morning and that was good but the best part was our server Nelson. Always a smile...
