"This is an attractive hotel that is clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is fine. My only issue is I did not realize the rooms are not cleaned daily. The first day was fine, we didn't need clean towels or our sheets changed. By the second day though our trash cans were overflowing and we were running out of toilet paper If I had known, I would have caught the cleaning staff in the hallway and asked them to take our trash and for more toilet paper. This will not prevent me from staying...

"The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back."

"The St. Clair in Frankfort is a charming boutique stay in a beautifully restored historic building, with loft-style studios full of character, an easy walk to downtown restaurants, and a convenient drive to nearby bourbon distilleries and Churchill Downs. There’s even a hidden speakeasy on-site, if you can solve the riddle to get in! Just know that, as with many historic loft properties, you may hear some noise from guests staying above you."

"There was no linen change during our 4 day stay. No fresh towels to the room or trash emptied. The toilet was off set and the seat was loose. There was mold near the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Clearly ceiling was painted over water damage. The bed was hard and the pillows so lumpy you couldn’t sleep on them comfortably. Walking across the floor barefoot turned your feet black. I would not recommend or stay there again."
