"Properly was very comfortable exceptionally clean staff were very helpful. Felt at home there spent 3 nights and would highly recommend this property.. heating was good beds had electric blankets.We had 3 rooms and all were perfect."

"Excellent everything. 50 minute drive to New Plymouth each day so early start and late return. Great to return home each night to a lovely home. Had everything we needed to relax after a hard day at "the office" - Matatini. "

"This place was amazing. We loved the view of the volcano and the cleanliness of the accommodations. The host was spectacular. We needed to wash some of our clothes and the host offered to wash them for us. I would definitely recommend this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer. "

"I don’t think I could have found a nicer place to stay. I was looking for an ‘ away from city’ stay and this ticked all the boxes. Owners are warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. They live upstairs but interact only if and when you want them to. Nothing is too much trouble. I fed the deer, sheep chickens and quails so if you are an animal person, this is utopia. "Was up from Dunedin for a speedway event and everything was top notch clean and easy access to everything. Would recommend staying at this place for a group of 5 or nore very spacious"

"We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The apartment was immaculate and very well outfitted with everything we needed. The farm location meant quiet, peaceful and relaxing evenings. Mel was a superb host who provided great information and support suggestions with regard to what to see, do and where to eat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!"
