"We spent one night here on our way from Dublin to Kilkenny. The staff were prompt and very polite. The location is rural, but the facility is top notch. "Our stay at the castle could not have been nicer from the moment we arrived and met Seamus, who welcomed us and helped us bring our bags in, we knew we were in for a great stay. "The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was in a good mood the whole time. You could not ask for a better location right next to the Glendalough sites, plus reasonable rates. Although my room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed, plus a lovely view from the sizable windows even though it raced north toward the road.
