"Excellent accommodation with an exceptional view. Immediately after booking, Colin, the owner emailed with all the information we needed to make our stay on Skye fabulous. We were greeted on arrival. The pod was meticulously clean and really lovely! Bathroom with shower, microwave, milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee and sugar. Clean bedding, towels, tea towel, dish cloth, washing up liquid. Crockery in the cupboards. The decking had a table and two chairs and looked over the most spectacular...

"Nice friendly check in, room was lovely with a nice view to mallaig. Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the wine and lager ( a pint for less than £4 😁). "I loved this place! Everything was fantastic. My room had the largest bed I have ever seen. The place was spotless. Great hot water, big shower with an amazing rain head. Loads of room. Fluffy towels. Nespresso machine.i wish there had been shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I find that shower gel is not a great shampoo. "Balmacara Hotel was one of the best properties we stayed at in Scotland. Wish we could have stayed longer than our 2 nights because our view was AMAZING! We had a breathtaking view of Loch Alsh, the mountains around it, and a very clean, spacious room. The staff was very friendly, and so helpful even assisting with our luggage. We were able to rest up after our scenic trip from Inverness to Kyle, then had a fantastic meal downstairs in their restaurant, with another beautiful view of the Loch...
