Room was clean, bed comfortable. We had the family room which suited us fine, however if you are after a view choose the bungalows. There is a pool area where you can sit and enjoy the garden view which is nice. You can’t swim out from the villas, and we hired a car which was ideal.

It was a delightful location just steps from the ocean. The room were large and clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a wonderful experience I would be happy to stay there again.

Right on the water and a shop and restaurant super close by. Not too far if you want a decent stroll to Muri Beach, and the bus stops right outside.

Beautiful spot.Right on the beach.The owners are fantastic.Nothing is a bother.room was nice,very clean.Only thing i could complain about is the bathroom is too tiny.Overall great stay

Waking up to sunrises and beach views from bed was lush! Our room was serviced daily to give us extra towels for our water adventures, I can’t say anything negative it was an amazing play to stay!! Can’t wait to come back

We had a lovely stay, place is super convenient, maybe 10/15 minute drive from the airport, we hired a car (would recommend) we had a three bedroom room, was spacious had a deck, and some seating inside, they gave us breakfast for the first day, and we stocked up at the supermarket.

Our family of four with two teenagers had such a lovely and peaceful stay here in a 1 bedroom family suite. We woke up to sunrise views. Beach here is so quiet (no other visitors other than villa guests/ faces the windward side a bit rough to swim) yet only a 20min walk to Muri where you can find dining options. We arrived late into Rarotonga and the kind host Svein was there to greet us and fridge had milk/toast/cereal. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable.

Stayed in the ocean view family villa. Villa was very clean, well furnished and well maintained -serviced daily. Pool is a great as beach is not sandy but is secluded. Great location - Turangi Eatery at the end of the driveway, Vili’s Burger Joint and small grocery store/petrol station just up the road. Short drive to Muri Night markets and the Muri lagoon.

We had a wonderful stay at The Passage Villas. The villa was beautifully presented, very clean, and extremely comfortable – it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and stress-free holiday. The location is fantastic, peaceful and private, yet still close to everything. Waking up each morning surrounded by such a tranquil atmosphere made our stay even more special. It is also the perfect spot to enjoy breathtaking sunrises – starting the day with such a beautiful view was truly unforgettable. We especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the environment was, perfect for unwinding and enjoying quality time. Communication and the overall experience were smooth and easy from start to finish. We would happily stay here again!

Had a late check in arranged which ended up being much later than I had planned for. Svein was accommodating even though it clearly kept him up waiting for us. The rooms were good overall but could do with some drawers and a few more hangers and then they would be much more functional for people who dont want to live from the suitcase. We had a few days with little to no hot water which was not ideal but it was sorted by day 4. We had 4 of the 8 villas for a wedding party and I am certain we caused more mess than most guests would ordinarily with bottles and food etc. Svein and Michelle again were extremely tolerant of this. Wifi is an issue which I had missed in the description when booking. It is available around the pool and near the office but otherwise you would need a Sim if you are needing to stay in touch with people. If you are someone who really doesnt need it often then this shouldn't put you off. Overall we had a great stay.

Unit was right at seafront, fantastic view of sea & reef. Hosts very friendly & helpful. Quiet & peaceful location. Covered veranda with sea view. Towels changed daily. Rubbish collected daily. Cereal & bread breakfast provided on first day, Good library on site. Wifi available, only around office & pool area. Unit could do with some maintenance - broken tiles in shower, bathroom cabinet amateurish. No hot plates, so limited to microwave for cooking. No cooking utensils for microwave. Only 1 set each of crockery & cutlery for 2 people, no extras. Needed to wash between uses. No rain cover for main door, so got wet when entering & leaving during rain. Need vehicle as shops, beach, restaurants not within walking distance. No beach access.

A Gift

What a place. Amazing experience. Swain was simply amazing. Rarotonga is the most beautiful location. Probably our favourite location to holiday, rest, and reconnect.
