"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration."

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"Cute little place with a cabin feel, it had everything I needed and then some. The place was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was clean and welcome after long hiking days. "

"Clean house. Abundance of toys for the kids to play with. Ample room to fit all 5 of us with a close proximity to harpers ferry and with in day trips of DC and Baltimore."

"This home was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, very close to all things. We had a fantastic time."

"Perfect place to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Cottage is exactly as pictured nestled on a quiet street. Very clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fenced yard was large and the perfect area for the dog to run in. The hosts were pleasant and responsive."

"This was an awesome place to stay while we explored the Harper’s Ferry area for a few days. The schoolhouse had everything we needed and we loved all the small finishing touches. Highly recommend! "

"We had a great stay at the Spy House for our family reunion in Harper’s Ferry. The location was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will hopefully return soon!"

"Our weekend cabin stay was wonderful. The safe neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Its location near nature and the city was just perfect. The cozy cabin was clean and comfy. We loved Gambrill State Park and downtown Frederick didn't disappoint as well."

"Beautiful property, as advertised, and stocked well with the extras. The whole family enjoyed the stay. So much to do around that we didn't get to do and we will likely be back to this rental again! Definitely recommend for a family or group trip."

"The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools."

"We're loved the layout of the house and the screened in porch! So isolated and quiet! Access to the towpath was wonderful! Definitely a place we would visit again!!!"

"Everything about the listing was amazing. The porch has breathtaking sunsets. Getting to the property was easy. Walk to the trails within a couple hundred feet of the cabin. Was not disappointed with anything inside the cabin. Super clean and big beds. "
