The Russell Farmhouse is great for large families or a group of friends. Conveniently located in the downtown area of Rangeley ME. You'll find entertainment such as bowling, arcade games, billiards and live entertainment right across the street at Moose Alley. Need something for your sled or boat? No problem there is PJ's power sports across the way.
Bring your boat! We have a slip waiting for you just steps away from the house.
Every year Snodeo has been within walking distance of Russell Cove. Be right near the action!
Come enjoy the beauty of Rangeley Lake.
Snowmobile on some of the best trails in the North East.
Convenient to the NH Trail system , ride out to Errol, Pittsburg or Colebrook and back, inside of an afternoon.
Feeling adventurous? Head to Canada and back!

Guest Access
In the Farmhouse you will have 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Living room, dining room and a large game room with wet bar and pool table. Outside, enjoy the swimming area with a dock, the community pavilion with a large area to toss a Frisbee or play catch. Enjoy having your boat with you at our dock.
Winter time, bring your snow machines and blast off into the trails or cross Rangeley Lake to access other parts of the town.

We are available by phone or email. Text is fine.

There is also a welcome book with helpful information regarding the property and the town of Rangeley

The Neighborhood
Our house is one of 20 in a private community. Located on the shoreline of Rangeley Lake.
Outside you will see plenty of wild life. Deer, Rabbits and the occasional Moose!



Getting Around
In the winter months you can get pretty much anywhere on your snowmobile.
atv trails can be accessed near by.

Quick lake getaway

We came to Rangeley for a quick get away with multiple generations of the fam. We enjoyed the lake with non motorized boats, and boards. Kitchen was great for making full meals. The game room was great, we used it everyday. Beds were comfortable.

excellant property owner.

I was impressed with this house. Had everything we could need for a weekend getaway with friends. Owner was very responsive when we called to advise that the gas grill was out of propane. No place in town had any so she had one of her neighbors bring us a tank to use.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. The bedrooms were cozy with really comfortable beds. We enjoyed the game room, relaxing in the spacious living room, brunch in the dining room and coffee on the porch. It is walkable to town and has access to Rangeley Lake. We would highly recommend!

Great place for a weekend getaway!

We had a blast and found the rental very clean and well equipped. The pool table and bar area was perfect for our family and friends. We played pool all weekend. Location is close to everything. We went across the street to Moose Alley and they had live entertainment which was fabulous. Perfect weekend. Thank You Lisa.

Family getaway

Beautiful house, very convenient to Saddleback and shopping/restaurants. The game room was a huge hit with our large group. The bedrooms were clean and comfy and the kitchen well stocked. We had a fantastic stay and hope to be back soon!

Comfy home in a beautiful village.

We had stayed in this home almost 20 years ago and I was excited to see how it looked now. I'm pleased to say that there have been a few great improvements since then. The first floor has new hardwood surface and a fantastic game room with a pool table and a large screen TV. Both were used a LOT! There is also a new bathroom off the game room which is nice for a large group. The upstairs remains the same. 5 bedrooms and a full bath. Cozy with the charm of an older home. We loved it. Rangeley is such a beautiful area and when we weren't playing pool we were exploring the are. The foliage was fantastic and the views from the height of land and Quill Hill were spectacular. We're already talking about a visit next year. I think I know where I'll be staying!

Charming older farm house

The pictures were pretty accurate. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for 3 couples since there were 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. All 3 bathrooms had showers and 2 had tubs. It would be great for an extended family since one bedroom had a double bed, a twin bed and bunk beds. There were plenty of linens and towels, with a washer and dryer if needed. Only one bathroom for the upstairs but that was not an issue, the others were both on the first floor. The kitchen was well equipped for any cook. The pool/ bar did not get used as much as we thought but it is a good drawing point. The neighbors were close but we spent a lot of time on the water and enjoying all the sights Rangeley had to offer. All in all, the accommodations were gently worn but cozy. This was our first experience doing this sort of thing and we would not hesitate to do I again. Thank you Dennis and Lisa for the use of your home and to Home Away for providing a service that seems to be in high demand! Regards, The Gasper and Kent families

Spacious vacation home in great location!

The house is spacious, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It's in a great location, walking distance to town, and entertainment. The game room has a pool table and was a big hit. It is pet friendly! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the WIFI is slow, and it was difficult, and sometimes frustrating to get service (which may be great for some people if they want to be free of their handheld devices). Other than that, it had everything we needed and more, and I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a large vacation home!
