Definitely a new fav spot if mine and my daughter's. Perfect distance from stores. Yet far enough to enjoy sounds of the lake and nature."

"A nerds paradise!! There are so many fun little LOTR easter eggs all over the cabin. Such a renaissance vibe while still having running water, shower, toilet etc. We will definitely be bringing family next time as it’s kid friendly while still being fun for adults. Joan and Jill have a beautiful property that they keep very well maintained! Thank you for allowing us to experience your charming, cozy cottage!"

"The cabin was perfect! Beautifully set in the woods, but close enough to attractions and shopping if needed. It was neat and furnished with everything we needed, plus some sweet extra touches. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! The hosts were quick to respond to questions. "

"The location was awesome. We felt that the place was in a state of remodeling because walls had nails in them, doors needed painting, etc. It had new furniture, celing fans and new flooring which was very nice. We also couldnt take a shower, the water pressure is very low and to go through a big shower head it doesnt do that and we know from personal experience so I would change shower head to a smaller one like we had to do. I would definitely stay here again when the remodel is done."

"Fantastic property. Clean and updated. The only con was the main bedroom did have some noise from the highway but we would stay agaon for sure. "

"We had a family wedding in Long Prairie with reception in Clarissa. The Mother of the groom(my 1st cousin ) lives in Pine Island Lake . We wanted to spend the weekend. There were 10 of us. We were able to bring our boat and spend time on the lake - it was wonderful! This place was awesome - nice and spacious for 10 people. Definitely beats 5 mediocre hotel rooms in Long Prairie. This rental was only a 10 min back road drive to/from reception hall. We highly recommend staying here. We will...

"My buddies and I came up to Brainerd for the weekend to head to Brainerd International Speedway and needed a place to stay the night. This property exceeded expectation with how much rooms there was both inside the house and in the back yard. Plenty of room for us to hangout in the living room/Kitchen and have a comfortable bonfire in the back as well. I would definitely recommend and come back. "

"The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood and right on the lake. The unit was fairly clean except the random trash hidden in the couch cushions and the occasional hair tie that was found in the bathroom or next to the bed. The sheets and towels were clean and the kitchen was as well. It had everything we needed. It was nice to have accessed to a washer and dryer and a garage to store some of fishing stuff. "I was in town for a week for work. The location was perfect, I could bring my dog, the host was polite and quick to respond to questions. Accuracy of listing was a 3 only because it sleeps 4 but there are only 3 kitchen chairs and one bowl for eating in the kitchen; it worked for me but may be an issue for a group of 4. The couch desperately needs to be replaced but is usable. I would stay here again."

"We stayed here early march to do some ice fishing. The host was gracious enough to build a small little ramp on the property so we could get out to the lake with our four wheelers directly from the property. Everything in the house was as described and it was a nice place to stay with an absolute stunning view of the lake. 10 of 10 would recommend."
