"The place, the view, and the amenities are all great. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking gear, the bathroom towels are big and fluffy, and the bed is comfy. Sitting on the upstairs deck is our favorite activity while here. (And visiting with Peekaboo the courtly courthouse cat in Cathlamet is a close second.) Thanks again, Michael. We’ll be back next year."

"I stayed at Sheena’s place for about 3 months while completing an internship for school. They stay was great! It was exactly as described and had everything that I needed for my time there. Since it is farther outside of town, the internet and service can be a bit tricky, but nothing that couldn’t be handled. She communicated very effectively and helped me with anything that I needed during my stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for long or short term stay in St. Helen’s. "

"I have rented this house numerous times, at various times of year. This is my 1st time at veginning of summer. The wildlife right off the deck, on the river, is spectacular. The only sound i heard, other than the very occasional passing car, was the sound of birds. Peaceful!"

"We had 4 couples total and had plenty of room and didn’t even use the beds in the garage area.The house was well stocked and tidy! Lots of towels and beautiful groundsWe throughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cabin"

"It’s a great property. Very private location with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen, living room, and deck. Very close to Castle Rock, the Cowlitz River, and Mt St Helens. Excellent value. "

"This was a fantastic place for us on our family's PNW adventure. The house itself was part of the experience. And it was also a gateway to some of our other adventures. Jim and Jimmiesue are fantastic hosts. My kids loved the time spent with Jimmiesue and the animals. We played lots of family games on the property. "Secluded and cozy! We stayed for a long weekend to check out the area. This was the perfect base for us as it was a quiet and peaceful respite at the end of each day. We loved sitting by the river each morning for coffee and enjoying the hot tub each evening as we watched for the bald eagle that cruised by along the river. It’s obvious Kaniz takes great pride in the property and ensuring a great stay. Kaniz was very responsive to a very minor issue we had with the tv and got it resolved quickly....

"We were in Longview for a family gathering. This house was a great space - upstairs and down - beds for everyone (had 9 adults, 2 kids). We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening but when we came in for dinner and/or just hanging out talking, there wasn’t enough seating for a large group. That would be the only negative."
