"The room lost power on the first night (including air condition) , we sent a message to them as instructed we didn’t get an answer until 10 am and they said they would fix it in 30 minutes but they never came back and they didn’t fix it all morning. When we were leaving to start our day we reminded them and that is when they finally decided to fix it. We spent all night and all morning while we were getting ready without ac and it basically felt like we were outside for that day. The room was...

"Great location. Easy access to the tube stations. No air con on the ground floors, during a heatwave this is more difficult - however the staff were very accommodating to provide fans!"

"Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon."

"A bit hard to find, on a small back street near the Globe Theater.
Spacious, modern room, quiet and peaceful place steps away from Borough Market, which is vibrant and heaving with people.
Really enjoyed my stay, but 2 thing to be aware of:
There is no phone in the room to contact the front desk, and no clock of any sort.
Which I found strange.
Also, no fire escape map on the door, like there is in every other lodging I have ever stayed in.
