Mountain Views, Pool, Hot Tub! 1500 sqft 2BR + Loft, Penthouse

1,500 square foot, two level condo apartment nestled in the mountains of Kootenay National Park at the village of Radium Hot Springs, BC. Located 2.5 hours from the Calgary (Alberta) International Airport, and 1.5 hours from Banff in Banff National Park. An all seasons vacation destination, Radium boasts access to approximately 20 golf courses within minutes to 1 hour distance; 6 of Canada's best ski hills from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours away; the Radium and Fairmont natural hot springs, and outdoor activities galore! Come and enjoy this fabulous vacation destination!

The completely outfitted condo unit includes two bedrooms each with queen sized beds on the main level, and a loft with two double beds on the second floor. Sleeping areas are provided with closets, dresser drawers and bed side tables. Condo sleeps 4 persons (Strata and Radium bylaw). Three full washrooms complete with shower (3) and/or bathtub (2). Towels, and an assortment of soaps, shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Fully stocked kitchen with stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and tea pot. Panty and fridge stocked with an assortment of non-parishables and condiments for guest use. In unit air conditioning, heating and clothes washer and drier.

Community pool facility with heated, outdoor swimming pool with sunning deck and furniture (open seasonally from May to October) and outdoor hot tub (open all year). Outdoor children's play ground beside community pool.

Building has an elevator that runs from the underground parkade to third (top) floor where Condo is situated. There is also an access stair well just outside the Condo's front door. One dedicated underground parking stall is provided for guests, with surface parking also available for visitors on a first come first serve basis.

Free high speed internet/wifi and access to streaming services through Roku provided. 44" TV with DVD Player. A selection of board games, cards, books and DVD movies provided.

No smoking, no pets (Strata bylaw).

Two balconies (one off main living area, the second off Master Bedroom) with patio furniture and a BBQ.

Safety features include keyless entry and deadbolt, several smoke detectors, fire extinguisher and emergency stair well just outside the condo unit's front door.

Just minutes walk to downtown Radium with a variety of restaurants and eating and drinking establishments, and grocery and retail stores. 5 minute walk to Radium Springs golf course. 5 minute drive to the Radium Hot Springs, and 15 minutes to the Town of Invermere and Windermere Lake with public swimming beach and access to boating and associated water sports. The lake becomes a long and winding outdoor skating rink in the winter.

Great Location and lovely property

All is wonderful at this condo except there is no cable TV or off-air. There is a Roku to enable streaming services but we could not manage to connect to it. I would suggest the owners activate the cable TV box they have on site to enable basic programming access to their short term tenants.

Excellent stay

This VRBO property is excellent on all facets. Booking process, communication with the owner, check in procedures all smooth and easy. Property itself is exceptional and exactly as depicted. It is clean and comfortable with relatively modern fixtures and appliances. Everything works and we had no issues. It is stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals including spices and condiments. I always like to say something sorta negative just to be balanced in reviewing and nothing is ever perfect. The only issue I experienced was the close proximity to a lumber trucking route. They start at around 4:30 a.m. and are not silent. If you are a light sleeper then ear plugs are recommended. Deeper sleepers can snore away. All in all, highly recommended.

This place is so very nice and perfectly described

Everything was as described. We didn’t contact anyone during our stay because we didn’t need to. The unit is very clean and well stocked. We had 2 short power failures while we were there but it was the whole village so it wasn’t the units fault. I guess the only negative is the floor strips between the bedrooms and the washrooms. I think they may be the wrong kind because they create a bit of a hill to go over. It’s bit shocking in the middle of the night.

Clean and well Stocked

The condo is very nicely laid out for up to 6 people. Very clean and well stocked with towels, linens and kitchen supplies which we do appreciated. The only reason for the 4 stars is we found all of the beds uncomfortable as they were very firm (not our preference). Everything else was great though.

I loved that it was a top floor suite, with lots of windows to view the neighbourhood wildlife that wondered by. The kitchen had all that we needed. The building is located on a main street from a lumber mill; so occasionally the street would get noisy from the big trucks that drove past. Overall it was a good stay for a great price.

Beautiful Area

Condo worked perfectly for our family group. Was clean and well appointed. As the mid-point stay of our road trip, we really appreciated the washer /dryer, and the comfy beds. Our trip included Yellowstone, Glacier and Banff/Lake Louise with our favorite being the condo in Radium Hot Springs.

Great weekend in Radium to view car show

Overall the unit was good, few dirty glasses. (Good) Well stocked and equipped. Nice views and walkable to downtown and golf course, very quiet building with one underground stall included and reasonable price. (Bads) Only 4 adults allowed, no cable included and have to take out garbage and start laundry when we left although paying a cleaning fee. We would return again though.

Perfect spot for our large family!

Right from the moment we walked in we felt like we were home! The space was clean, comfortable and had literally everything we needed. The little kids loved the pool, the big kids loved the loft. We had 8 people in this space and it did not feel cramped at all! We would love to stay here again sometime. ♥️

Great place, good location, nicely stocked with basics, hot tub was nice (didn’t go in the pool). The in-window ac unit had trouble cooling all rooms but open windows at night to be cool while sleeping.
