"The pool was nice. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay! We had fun fishing the lake. The propane grill was great. The AC stayed nice and cold.Drawbacks: the kitchen is decorated cute but lacking in usable dishes. There is too much decoration for the limited counter space. There was no big skillet for cooking. "Had a great time at the cottage. Lake Hawkins is a beautiful getaway. We caught plenty of fish and made lots of memories with our 2 year old grandbaby. The dock and fire pit were our favorites. Red Rooster Ice house is definitely a must out to eat option. We loved it. "

"We all loved this home so very much that we are thinking about already booking for next summer. From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! "

"We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with family. The house was very accommodating. Plenty of space for our group of 20. Despite getting rain the first two nights and the temps dipping into the 70s, we had a great time.
