"Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices...

"The guesthouse was a different type of accommodation. It was in a convenient area, 12 to 14 mins to the marina and this waseasily done on quite a few occasions. The staff there were terrific and looked after the place well. Breakfast was all that was needed to start the day. My only knock on the place was the aircon in room 6; fid not do the job when it was warm."

"You can’t fault the staff at every level, the rooms are a good size and the sea views are great, although some of the carpets are getting a bit thread bare with over use, and a few repairs and replacements wouldn’t go amiss considering its status as a 5 star hotel, can’t really call it shabby chic, you do have to watch out at weekends for the dance club across the road that likes to keep you entertained until the early hours, and doesn’t really make any difference even if you close the window....

"Very nice hostel with good facilities and outdoor space. The shower did leak onto the floor and it was a bit silly to ask for €20 cash as a deposit to use the iron and hairdryer (I have never had to hand over a deposit for these) as I was on my way home the next day and didn’t want to get it out in cash. I managed to convince the receptionist to give both to me without a deposit in the end! Overall really comfortable stay. "

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist hier die Dame am Empfang. Ich verreise sehr oft und hatte selten eine so sympathische, freundliche, kompetente und hilfsbereite Dame an der Rezeption. Riesenlob dafür. Das Hotel selbst ist an einen Berghang gebaut, hat einen Außenpool und einen netten Ausblick. Ich hatte zusätzlich eine sehr schöne, große Terrasse mit Tisch und Sesseln. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und mit Kühlschrank...

"Loved the fact it had a small kitchen in the room. Love loved the crisp white linen and comfortable bed. Everything I needed was well thought out. Sorry I couldn’t stay longer and enjoyed the comfort. The reception was wonderful very well informed also close to the train stain if you need to leave or arrive anytime. Around the corner takes you to plenty of restaurants and the marina. Will happily say there again."

"Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to go in Olhao. Relaxing pool area. Location was good, just a short walk from the town and marina. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that local cafes had more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Olhao and would choose the Cidade again. "

"This hotel is a dream come true. It’s expansive yet it feels like a private compound. Access to the beach and walking paths along the cliffs were great and the views are stunning. Beach side service was unexpected and much appreciated, though you do need to pay to reserve a cabana or chair. All of the pools were lovely, breakfast, lunch and dinner options at the buffet were varied and of high quality. Lima and Uddo were spectacular.
