Peaceful, Country Cottage with Open Floor Plan

This property is recently renovated! You will enjoy a clean, comfortable and relaxing home. Located right next door to Pointe D'Vine Wedding Venue & Vineyard, which has a tasting room. The cottage overlooks the Mississippi River valley which has beautiful autumn colors. Three bedrooms, one bath home with spacious open floor plan, all on one level.1300 sq feet that comfortably fits 4 adults and 2 children. We chose calming colors to compliment the natural tones of the space, in a modern chic style.

Everything was exactly as described in listing. Home was clean and organized. We enjoyed our stay. For only one bathroom we were worried about water pressure for 4 of us taking showers but it was great! It was a short drive to Hannibal. We did have a little difficulty with the entrance lock but figured it out quickly. Would recommend!

This was our 2nd stay here . Last year we spent most of our time touring Hannibal . Then we "discovered" Quincy ! This location is an easy 15 minute trip away from each town .The accommodations are furnished with everything one would require to enjoy their stay . The view out the picture window is magnificent ! Quiet, with a perfect grove of trees surrounding, this is your ideal place to stay !

Cozy & Peaceful

This was the perfect little home for our week long stay near Quincy! It had everything our family needed and was very cute and clean! Our son loved the large front yard. We were there in June so it was a treat watching the Fire Flies at night. When communicating with the host, they were very responsive and polite. If we ever find our way back to Quincy, we would love to stay there again!

The place was affordable, clean and nicely furnished for the five of us. Worked out well for our visit to Hannibal.

Was very secluded and mostly quiet, we unfortunately stayed during the timeframe that the Hannibal bridge was closed for repairs and the detour for bridge traffic was right state property, so we had big truck traffic all day and night.House was warm and inviting, we had 5 older ladies staying for our girls weekend and the ranch style was perfect! It unfortunately rained most of the time severe there, so did not get to enjoy the patio.Wish they had enough couch space to seat 5 people but just had two smaller couches. Also wish they had local channels on the TV or a sports package on Dish, we wanted to watch the Fever game! Check in and out was fast and easy but communication with the host was very spotty from the start, email through Vrbo was the only way to contact until we arrived and then there was a phone number, which we called eventually to find out about the TV and when answered, they were very confused and suspicious of who was calling. Email responses were very slow ( days later, if at all) and very pointed, not particularly helpful. Overall, we had a good stay but could have been smoother.

Great Place for our Family

This location and home are great for our family. We are close to the rest of our family and the accommodations are excellent! Everyone having their our bedroom works well for us and the location is only 10 miles from Quincy.

Anniversary outing

This cottage was perfect for our 35th anniversary getaway. It was in a country setting right along the highway, with easy access.We found it roomy but cozy, clean and comfortable. We would recommend it to anyone, for a pleasant stay. We went to Quincy and Hannibal for restaurants, and enjoyed sightseeing along the river in both towns, strolling about watching the migratory birds in the very nice weather.
