My wife and I were traveling through and found the Lighthouse on short notice. The Lighthouse sits at the base of Saginaw Bay and has a 280 degree view of the water. The sunrise and sunset was simply amazing and the bird watching was incredible. We saw so many birds but the most impressive was a juvenile bald-eagle fishing on the bank prior to sunrise. The Lighthouse is small and tight but a perfect location if you want to get away and simply hit the reset button. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful location and quiet. No A/C, not good for a 90 degree day in July. Very small, and if you have mobility issues, this place is not for you. Spent one night, and that was enough for July. Spring or fall would be recommended.Bay City (20 minutes away) has a lot of restaurants to offer. Inside was clean, outside was plastered with bugs, especially on the screens. The Host was nice.

A beautiful, quiet little place. We had such an amazing time! The view is perfect. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We struggled a bit with the heat and we did bring a small fan which was a life saver for when downstairs. Upstairs the breeze can be really wonderful with the windows open. The stairs are a bit steep but we found that to be a fun adventure! Tracy is an attentive and friendly host. We would love to come back someday!

The lake is big and you are small. This is evident in the best way possible every moment you are there. Is the house tiny? Absolutely, but you didn't come here for room you came for the view and wow does it deliver

Lighthouse

Very nice and quiet. Secluded. Small but just enough for 2. Had everything we needed Especially loved the bedroom upstairs. Had all of the windows open and the breeze blowing in off the water was amazing. Had rain one night and loved the sound. We spent every night outside enjoying the breeze and watching the sunset. Had fun watching an eagle that resided nearby. We played golf at a couple of nearby courses and took our motorcycle on a scenic ride.

This place is incredible! Private and quiet property, beautiful enough to take your breath away. Surrounded by water on all 3 sides, making you feel like you’re on an island. Plenty of sights to see and food to eat in nearby Bay City. So many things to do during your stay like kayaking and fishing in the bay. Spectacular host Tracy is super friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay again! 10/10 recommended

Overall I give our stay a 9.5 out of 10. I would have given it a 10 but the only very slight negative about our whole stay was it was very confusing finding the property. You cannot see the lighthouse from the main road. You can't see the water from the road either. There is a private dirt drive path through a wooded area near a campground with other people's homes you have to pass before you can see the water & lighthouse. I would recommend informing guests of this. I got turned around a couple times because I didn't want to drive down someone's driveway. My cell (Verizon) also didn't have service in this wooded area so I couldnt look up number to call. After we found the property and arrived at the Lighthouse everything was great. The lighhouse is very nice. Beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife. Saw a couple Bald Eagles. The dead trees to the North is where I saw the Eagles. My wife loved the swing under the Willow Tree. There is a bonfire pit on site by the water. We loved that. The place was clean. Smelled nice. The bedoom was clean. Great views of the water. There is balcony that overlooks the water. There is a dock you can fish off of. Kayaks also. Overall we absolutely loved the place. Love the atmosphere. Private. Clean. Wildlife. Great Scenery! We definitely plan to stay again!

Beautiful and quaint!

We stopped here for a night on our road trip because it looked like a unique and peaceful stay. We were greeted by an eagle, and we enjoyed counting all the herons. We were lucky enough to witness both a sunset and sunrise that were so beautiful!The actual property is exactly as shown-- tiny. But the space is used well and it's comfortable and cozy. We had space to eat leftovers that we had brought and then play a game on the counter. After staying in random hotels, the plentiful pillows were a welcome change. You do share the space with some bug friends, but you're on Saginaw Bay, so it would honestly be concerning if there weren't insects around. The air moves through well upstairs, but downstairs there is only one window with a screen so I was glad I had a small travel fan with me. Definitely a property worth a stay!

Our stay was really nice, Beautiful scenery, Owners were very nice and helpful! We did go during a summer heatwave, having the windows open helped a little since there is no ac. Definitely a cute little getaway!

Amazing place

I can’t begin to review how awesome this was. Exactly as depicted and crazy wildlife every morning and thru out the days. I stayed 2 nights and would go back in a second. Had great convo’s with Tracy. It’s impossible to express how easy she was do deal with and accommodating. You just have to go see for yourself.

Delightful Light House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tracy’s LightHouse. It was a very quaint space and a very serene setting. Great place to get away. Tracy was very helpful and communicative. We would definitely go back!

A true slice of heaven on earth. Upon arrival, the Lighthouse is a short walk from parking and you feel in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful Saginaw Bay. Gentle breezes carry the sounds of nature as you take in breathtaking views and frequent wildlife sightings. From the soft glow of sunrise to the calm of sunset, this is a place where peace surrounds you, offering the perfect setting to unwind and find true tranquility!

This place has beautiful views and is a special spot. Quiet and private. I would love to come back again. I'm not giving it 5 stars simply because the ladder stairway to the bedroom is such a challenge to navigate. Secluded and relaxing

Looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life? If quiet time surrounded by water and wildlife is what you're looking for, this will be perfect for you. There were tons of birds all around the property, most notably multiple bald eagles every day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

Excellent views and cozy secluded getaway.

My girlfriend and I spent a quiet weekend here without many complaints at all, loved the entire experience and would come back again. The local wildlife, scenic views, and vibe of the lighthouse makes you feel like the world doesn’t exist and allows you to be wholly present. The only complaints we had was that the property could have been a little more groomed and treated for bugs.

Weekend gateway

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our first anniversary and it was amazing! The water looked beautiful and seeing the eagles in the morning was fantastic! The light house was super charming and cozy and it was a delightful experience. Tracy was a great host and super friendly and accommodating!
