Summary

A self-contained studio unit at the Oaks Shores apartment complex on Frankton Road. The open-plan space features a king split bed, a small dining table for two, a kitchenette, an ensuite bathroom, and a small balcony with views directly across the lake to the Remarkables (partially framed by the neighbouring apartments). Accessed via the hotel-style hallway on floor 9, or via an interconnecting door from the neighbouring two-bedroom unit.



The Space

A studio apartment on a single level, on Frankton Road between Frankton and central Queenstown.

Please note that ongoing construction works are currently taking place in Block 3 of the complex. While every effort is made to minimise disruption, guests may occasionally experience some noise during standard construction hours. Expected completion by Sept 30th.

Bedrooms: Open-plan studio sleeping area, with views from the studio balcony are somewhat blocked by the extending apartments on either side, but you can look directly across the lake to the Remarkables.

Bathrooms: One bathroom. Ensuite with toilet, glass shower with fixed head and handheld head, heated towel rail, mirror and vanity.

Living areas: Open-plan living with heat pump, smart TV.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with kitchenette with the same coffee machine, kettle and toaster as the main unit, plus a fridge/freezer.

Balcony: Small balcony off the studio; views partly blocked by neighbouring apartments but with a direct across-lake view to the Remarkables.

Let us know your preferred configuration at least 3 days before arrival. Changes requested after check-in incur a fee of NZD $100 per bed plus a NZD $10 call-out fee, which covers our external cleaners coming to rearrange beds and fit new linen.

Guests have full use of the property — kitchen, lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms, and balcony.



The Neighbourhood

This apartment is part of the Oaks Shores resort complex on Frankton Road, right on the shore of Lake Wakatipu. It's roughly a 7-minute drive (or a scenic lakeside walk/cycle) into central Queenstown, with Frankton's shops and cafes close by the other way.

This apartment is privately managed by Hello Queenstown and is not affiliated with the Oaks Shores reception.

Please do not visit the on-site reception desk for check-in, key collection, maintenance requests, or booking enquiries, as they are unable to assist with privately managed apartments.

Parking: No parking is included with this apartment.

Stairs: No internal stairs — the property is on floor 9 and accessed via elevator from the bottom car park building

Power: Running too many appliances at once may trip the power

Fire alarm: Sensitive, so please take care when cooking and have the extraction fan turned on

Extra linen and a mid-stay clean are available for a fee.

Baby Bundle (portacot, high chair, baby bath) is available on request for NZD $50.



Please make all requests at least 3 days before arrival — later requests incur an additional NZD $10 call-out fee.



The first round of amenities is complimentary. If you're staying more than 5 days, we'd recommend picking up extra during your stay.



House Rules

Maximum of 2 guests, with children aged 0–2 staying free.

At least one guest must be over the age of 22

No pets, parties, or smoking/vaping indoors — and please, no glitter

This property is in a residential area; quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
