"It was a quaint hotel with an excellent location - on the heart of the town with walking distance from the ferry terminal & to the bus stop, and lovely restaurants with peppy night life at the piers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a view of the town and the water. Loved staying here. Don't miss the bakery "Daily Bread" across from the bus stop - their meat pies and salads are unforgettable."

"I don’t usually bother writing reviews but the value for money here was amazing! We booked a twin room with our toddler and had breakfast each morning the hotel was lovely and the staff were so nice. The breakfast was so good!!! And the room was a great size. Will definitely be back."

"This stay wasn’t as good as my last as this room didn’t have a seat and table. Had I known rooms of the same standard have different layouts, I would have asked for one with a seat and small table. This room was much smaller than last time and I wondered if I’d had a first time experience that wasn’t to be repeated."

"I had a perfect stay! The staff were very sweet and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and feels luxurious. Bed was so comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and got very hot. I highly recommend staying here. It is in a great location for walking around the city."

"This hotel is located in an excellent location. It's a short walk to the water where the boat tours are. It's also a short walk to the Sky Tower and the bus station. There are hundreds of restaurants and businesses nearby within walking distance. The taxi fare to and from the airport was about $95 in New Zealand dollars each way. "All windows need to be cleaned all carpet needs professional clean or replacing, the main ensuite bathroom cabinets are perishing and the bathrooms need cleaning and wooden floors need cleaning, also the tables need dusting properly. One of the blinds in the main bedroom is faulty. One of the dining chairs is faulty. There was rubbish under a bed. There is only one outdoor chair and no table. Stunning views. Good price point. Carpark nearby. "
