Hang out on the 550sq.ft. rooftop deck or walk to the beach. Enjoy the endless activities nearby including hiking/biking trails, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, seafood, wildlife, cave spelunking, kayaking, boating and fishing.

- Take day trip to Hornby & Denman Island
- Visit the Deep Bay Marine Field Station(touch tanks, aquariums, exhibits)
- Spend the day at Spider Lake
- Explore the famous Horne lake Caves on a guided tour

A perfect spot for access to beaches and brew pubs which is how we spent the week. Communication with the property manager was great. House was well stocked. Only negative is the lack of curtains in upstairs bedroom. Only really needed on the door to the deck otherwise I would suggest guests bring an eye mask. As the sun comes in at 6:00.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, ample log cabin with fine finishings. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and indoor log burning stove. The property manager was attentive and helpful. The location is fine, in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to the beach. Most local attractions are within a short drive.We would love to stay here again in the future!

I stayed here with my wife, kids, and mum. We used Bowser as a base to explore the coast line and beaches. The location is accessible and peaceful, with walking trails nearby. The house was perfect for us, well-stocked in terms of utensils and furniture, and comfortable beds. 10/10 would visit again!

This place exceeded all of our expectations. It was just as beautiful and cozy as the pictures. It was also extremely well equipped with a lot of thoughtful touches like logs arranged in the fireplace ready for us to light them, well equipped kitchen with a wide range of spices and other cooking essentials, and even kid friendly plates and cups. They also had a playpen and booster seat for mealtimes. The manager lives next door and was very attentive and friendly. We also appreciated the fact that there wasn’t the usual list of tasks to be done at checkout. All we had to do was load and turn on the dishwasher (which was optional). Highly recommend this place and we would live to stay there again!

All in all a great place to stay awhile and put up your feet. Arrival logistics were seamless. We enjoyed our 1 week stay. Hiked local trails and frequently walked beaches and beach trails. The home was well equipped and had all of the facilities for a comfortable living. Enjoyed the wood burning fireplace during the cool nights. The hosts, who were near by, were very supportive and pleasant to deal with.

This place has everything you need to be comfortable. The cabin is newly built and has very nice appliances very comfortable bed and the host made sure that I always had firewood for the woodstove, which was fantastic. I will refer this property to family and friends and I will be back someday.

The property is exactly as listed. This is a huge, beautiful property located on a quiet street with convenient parking. It is very private and the hosts are very mindful and considerate. At night it is very dark and peaceful and it is ideal to watch the stars from the rooftop which is furnished with lovely and comfortable seating. The property has everything you can think of, and more! From the outside, it is just so inviting and welcoming. When you enter the cabin, you first see the dining room, lounge area with fireplace and stunning fully equipped kitchen (it has everything and more than you need and lots of cabinets for your groceries etc.). Very thoughtful that there is coffee, tea, spices and general items in one of the cupboards in the kitchen. There is a bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor, as well as washer and dryer, cleverly tucked away to look like another cupboard. It is all very spacious. There is also a seating area just off the kitchen by the stairs. This opens up to the huge deck overlooking the back garden. Upstairs you have a work area with a desk and another tv room, the huge master bedroom with amazing windows and an awesome bathroom - the shower is spacious and has a rain shower head with handheld. Again everything you could imagine you'd need (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) - hair dryer, cotton wool, ear buds etc. all neatly stored. The main bedroom leads out to the rooftop. I can honestly say that we loved every bit of the log cabin - beautiful flooring, lots of light (including natural), light switches all marked clearly, very stylish and comfortable décor, extremely well equipped and very clean! We feel very fortunate that we could be the first visitors to this stunning cabin. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Vancouver Island. Thanks so much for the very enjoyable stay.
