"This is a nice, older motel. The room was clean. A simple breakfast (cereal, bagels, pastries, oatmeal) was provided. My room smelled strongly of air freshener when I walked in, but I was able to dissipate this by running the air conditioner."

"The place was super clean well kept. Safe area lots of things to do and see. There is a sing seat by the river watch is magical. The inn keeper is so humble and kind. She is very Accompadating. And there is a trian ride that takes you to Jim Thorne. Will definitely be back again in October for the fall festival and the changing of the leaves."

"Was pleasantly surprised with the property. It has only 2star hotel rating on Expedia but I think it deserves more. Place is newly renovated, our room, smallest of all offered was decent size with nice sized bathroom…. Room was clean and stylish, check in process was so easy, with door PIN code sent to us on the day of arrival. Common area and kitchenette with snacks, cozy seating area, fridge, tea/coffee station etc. overall the place felt very clean, with rustic kick giving it a special charm!...

"This was a surprisingly quiet stay for a hotel! (Aside from nearby highway traffic) The room was great! Not sure if they ran out of other room types or they get a lot of contractors staying longer but they put me into a full suite. Never had a full size fridge and kitchen in a hotel room before. Even the view was very nice to see the golden hour sunset over the trees. Everything was quite nice about the stay... ..._except_ for the continental breakfast that was provided. I'm still trying...

"Stayed in the Miner’s Suite. Perfect for our family. Clean and comfortable. Our son lives in Pottsville and he was able to join us for breakfast. Excellent breakfast and the scones that were out when we arrived were the best. Highly recommend. "

"We were just 'over-nighting' so this is not a detailed review. Room was clean and comfortable. This appears to be somewhat new management and they are doing a lot of work here. The only critique is this: They have breakfast available, but we discovered it only by accident in a separate room. The variety was ok for a 'free' breakfast, but it needed some more attention to restocking and keeping things hot. "
