"We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. "

"This was terrible experience lost my money, there were no toiletries, no phone in the room to connect with reception. Nobody was ever at the reception probably why they don’t give phone in room. Broken floor "

"It’s an excellent new hotel and well maintained property. Courteous staff and immaculate house keeping. Food at Buffet breakfast and dinner is quite extensive and tasty. I wish the property were renting scooters to go to city and sight seeing. Auto or cab is the only mode of transportation. Majority of the residents have their own car. I also recommend the management to start working on activity for hotel guests with corresponding transportation."

"There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great. "

"A great escape with great service. A bit out of town away from the noisy traffic, set in gorgeous surroundings. The room was very large and clean and beds were comfortable. Felt like 5 star. The bar and food options were good. Altogether a great stay where our every need was met."

"Lymond house est une maison historique située au calme, dans une rue sans issue. La propriété, qui date de 1855, est magnifique. "First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a shared accommodation with independent bathrooms in each room. The rooms are very small and not clean. Washrooms were stinking and when we asked for proper cleaning, we were provided with room spray. Lot of flies in the rooms co-living with you. Kettle was not working and we even had power issues where the power sockets were not working for multiple hours. Food (breakfast) was too good and the service was nice. "When I checked in the room had prior guest’s trash and the bed and bathroom smelled terrible. The couch had blood stains. Gave my laundry to be cleaned and it came back stinking like urine. The food was also bad."
