"Boddenlust 24" Vacation Home – A Short Coastal Getaway with Your Dog and a West-Facing Terrace

Sometimes it’s not about having a lot of space, but finding the right place: The “Boddenlust 24” vacation home offers a modern temporary home for up to three people in about 43 m². Built in 2021, this half of the vacation home is ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers who want to experience Rügen in a quiet, nature-filled setting.

Dogs are also welcome, provided you register in advance. The private garden, the private west-facing terrace, and the natural beach—about 600 meters away—make the house a wonderful base for enjoying your vacation together on the island’s south coast.

Compact layout and cozy furnishings

This half of the vacation home features an open floor plan and short distances between rooms. The centerpiece is the combined living, dining, and kitchen area, which feels bright and welcoming thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. From here, you have direct access to the patio and the garden.

The sofa with an ottoman invites you to put your feet up after a day out. A flat-screen TV is available for a quiet evening of TV. Free Wi-Fi allows you to share vacation photos, plan outings, or stay connected online if needed.

Lamps, furniture, and artwork reflect a Scandinavian-inspired interior design style. The careful design gives this compact vacation home a modern yet cozy atmosphere.

Open kitchen for flexible self-catering

The kitchen is directly connected to the living and dining area and is equipped with high-quality appliances. The cabinets contain a complete set of tableware. A dishwasher takes care of the dishes after meals.

The dining table with four chairs comfortably seats all guests. Here you can have breakfast together, enjoy a meal, or plan the next day of your vacation in the evening. When the weather is nice, you can move the dining area out to the furnished terrace.

Restful sleep in the separate bedroom

The separate bedroom is furnished with a comfortable box-springdouble bed measuring 180 × 200 cm. A wardrobe provides ample storage space for clothing and personal items. The bedroom also features its own flat-screen TV.

The bed will be made upon your arrival. Towels will also be provided, so you can arrive relaxed and settle in right away.

The vacation home is designed to accommodate up to three people. The open living area, with its sofa and ottoman, offers additional space to relax.

Modern bathroom

The bathroom features a shower and a toilet. Its functional amenities complement the home’s compact layout and provide everything needed for a relaxing vacation.

This half of the vacation home does not have its own washer or dryer. If needed, coin-operated washing machines and dryers available for shared use in the main house can be used.

West-facing terrace for a relaxing end to the day

The private terrace faces west, making it a lovely spot to spend the later hours of the day outdoors. Garden furniture is available for breakfast, a coffee break, or a dinner together.

The terrace opens onto a private garden. It provides additional open space and is a pleasant addition to the living area, especially when staying with a child or a dog. The floor-to-ceiling patio doors also ensure that the indoor and outdoor areas are closely connected.

Exploring the area with your dog

Dogs are welcome at “Boddenlust 24” upon prior registration. Around Klein Stresow, various trails wind through the peaceful Bodden landscape and offer great opportunities for walks together.

Families with children are also welcome to book the vacation home. The garden, the straightforward floor plan, and the natural setting create pleasant conditions for a hassle-free stay.

Natural beach, Bodden, and active days on the island

The unspoiled beach is located about 600 meters from the vacation home. It’s within walking distance; a handcart is available for towels, beach bags, and other essentials.

The Greifswald Bodden is also in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, walks, and activities such as kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. After a day out and about, the peaceful atmosphere of Klein Stresow awaits you back at the vacation village.

Reserved Parking Space and EV Charging Stations

A free parking space is reserved for the vacation home. Guests with electric vehicles can use one of the three shared charging stations in the vacation village. There is a fee for using the charging stations, which is calculated based on the length of your stay. A vehicle charging cable is not provided and must be brought by the guest.

Access to the vacation village is via an unpaved, natural road. Please drive on this road at walking speed only.

If you’re arriving by train, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to Klein Stresow can be arranged for a small fee.

Café and Farm Store in the Vacation Village

You don’t have to leave the vacation village to get fresh rolls in the morning. At Café Klein Stresow, which has an attached farm store, you can also enjoy hot and cold beverages, light meals, snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, and specialty coffees. A variety of regional products round out the selection.

It stays quiet even at the turn of the year: New Year’s Eve is celebrated without fireworks in the vacation village. This is particularly appealing to guests with dogs, families with small children, and vacationers who want to ring in the New Year without the noise of fireworks.
