"Views and aspect with water right n front was great. Room very spacious. The bathroom extractor fan not working maybe for some time as small patch of mould on wall by ceiling. Ambience and heritage aspect was excellent. Food very good rather unfortunate incident where there was a piece of broken ceramic in the tempura batter on eggplant which otherwise was delicious. Staff responded well and must apologitic. Overall 4/5. Would stay again"

"Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in"

"Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group."

"The check in and staff was easy and friendly. The rooms were tidy with all the appliances we needed for the weekend. WRm spa pools x 5 were great and restaurant on site was a bonus with nice food. Will return."

"Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. John ist sehr aufmerksam und gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen und Umgebung. Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Kleine Küchenzeile ist auch vorhanden. Ich war in Einheit 7 und hatte von der Terrasse aus Blick aufs Wasser. Nur die Live Musik am Wochenende von nebenan hat etwas gestört aber das lag daran, dass die Dame einfach nicht singen konnte. "
