"I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. The resident small dog and cat were friendly and happy to welcome us. Shopping was just minutes away. Watch for deer if you drive the area at dusk/dark! At the corner where you turn into the neighborhood, there are tons of wild blackberries."

"A hidden gem. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, with a view of the water from the large kitchen window and seating area that a poet could visit with for days and still not capture all the beauty of. The host is there when you need her, is friendly and kind and otherwise lets you feel as if you’re on your own. Everything I needed was supplied, refreshed without asking during my stay. She also left fresh flowers a couple of times on the back porch table, they smelled amazing in the vases offered...
