"My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was a good size and had a good view over the gardens and river. The staff were wonderful and the service was excellent. The food was first class. The hotel is in a quiet area and a little removed from the shops, museums etc but that was fine for us. "

About 15 minutes walk to the busier parts of the city. Loved the library on the to floor and balcony. Honesty bar a nice touch. Room and bathroom very spacious. "

The bathroom was not clean enough, the rooms were very small, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the property. Additionally, the guests did not fully respect the house rules, which made the experience uncomfortable. "A fantastic welcome awaits at the LR Guest House. An old property converted into rooms in the heart of Lisbon. I was there only for 2 nights attending a conference but it was perfect for my needs (although there was no ensuite, I had my own large bathroom a few steps away, dressing gown and slippers provided). the most impressive aspect were the managers, they were very friendly an I felt that they cared about their guests. We were waiting over 20 minutes for our drinks in an empty bar. We started tasting the pastries and the bartender came over and refused to serve us because he said we were “not allowed to eat in the bar”.. we had 2 croissants. Still in the box.
