RUM CAY GETAWAY is set in a quiet cul-de-sac but is just 1/2 mile (2-minute drive or 10-minute walk) to Fisherman's Village. A 5-minute boat ride around the corner and under the Marion bridge, which brings you right next to Fisherman's Village in the Charlotte Harbor, with a quick ride to the Gulf of Mexico! The location is ideal for exploring the nearby islands of Sanibel, Captiva, and Boca Grande.

Fisherman's Village offers several dining options, numerous shops, a marina, site seeing cruises, yacht charters, daily boat rentals, annual events, and live music. See fishermensvillage.com for more details.

A WONDERFUL AND SPACIOUS LAYOUT...
This three bedroom, two bath waterfront home features an open floor plan that maximizes the view and access to the pool, spa and pool bar from the family room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, second bedroom and pool side bathroom. The front of the home includes a living room and office with an additional sofa bed sleeping option.

A MAGNIFICENT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE...

The backyard features a private heated* pool, spa, sun deck, outdoor dining area, and pool side bar that is southern facing to maximize your sun, sunrise, and sunset experiences. There are plenty of patio seats at the table, bar and on four luxury lounges. Access to a gas grill rounds out your outdoor experience.

*Pool heating is optional. It is recommended mid-October through April. Please request information and we will personalize the quote accordingly.

Siblings Day

We decided on this property because it was close to our brother's condo. It was perfect for us. More room than we needed! The outdoor space was so fun and we ate many of our meals near the pool. If possible, bring a sharp knife.

Our stay was great! However the couch bed was not usable. It was so hard that my daughter slept on the floor. I would recommend getting a different type of sleeper. Maybe like a futon. We had a wonderful time and it was a lot of fun! The pool and hot tub are the topping on the cake!!!

Great relaxing week

We enjoyed a great week in this beautiful home with the most perfect weather. The house exceeded our expectations. The pool allowed us to enjoy several relaxing days at the pool without needing to look for other activities. We love Punta Gorda. So easy to get around without heavy traffic. We had a little hiccup with our checkin but the host was quick to respond & managed the situation , and compensated us for the inconvenience. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying again.

Fabulous and Fortunate!

The house was very nice, had everything we needed. Paid for heating of the pool, which was not on or cover when we arrived. Called Dell and she got it taken care of, but it took another day to become tolerable. I will definitely stay here again.

Birthday getaway

Our trip was incredible from start to finish! Dell contacted me not to long after making our reservation to let me know I had paid for the pool to be heated for our trip in August and wanted to see if I had meant to do that, when I told her I didn’t she graciously refunded me that fee. She was flexible with us and accommodated us with a late departure. The home was in a convenient location to many restaurants and the pool was a perfect place to cool off! We loved every part of our stay, I have recommended this home to everyone I have talked to about our trip, we can’t wait to come back again!!!

1 week getaway for birthday

Rum Cay is a great place to reset. We enjoyed the house and pool. Plenty to see and do in Punta Gorda. We enjoyed live music on Sunday and Thursday and Friday. Great restaurants and bars.

Great location, pool and lenai.

The location is great, just minutes from Fishermans Village. Property was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and lanai. Had to call the owner about the pool and it was taken care of immediately. We hope to book this one again. Thank you Dell.

Beautiful canal home in the isles of Punta gorda

The home has everything you need. The location is perfect! Close to a beautiful park with pickleball and tennis open play. The pictures online of this home do not do it justice. It’s beautiful! The owner Dell is wonderful. She responds very quickly to any questions or needs. Would definitely rent there again next year!!
