"Being right on the beach was a total plus, and also having a pool made it a great property. The bathroom was updated, but it would have been great if it had a larger vanity area for the placing of cosmetics etc… The room itself could use some updating, but overall it was comfortable! "

"Exceptional service from all staff and just an all-around beautiful property with thoughtful special touches like water and chocolates offered in the evening. We have been staying at the sister property for over a decade and decided to try Hotel Maria this year instead. What an exceptional experience and that comes at no surprise. "The property was clean. Stayed overnight with my teenage son. The pool and the hot tub were clean. My son stayed in the hot tub area for 2 hours after being at the beach and it being cold. The staff were nice. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to Foxwoods. "

"The room was clean and comfortable- if you take a close look you can tell it’s an older building that has been updated by all the old lumps and dents in the walls they painted over lol. Otherwise it looks very nice and is clean which is the most important. Plenty of outlets in the room and a full length mirror! The two women at the desk when I checked in were very pleasant and informative however at check out the gentlemen at the counter was sassy and seemed to not want to be bothered. I...

"Place was dirty and needs to be upgraded. Parking lot needs sealcoat. Sime spotty mold in room amd bathroom especially around whirlpoo, chair ripped,floor dirty, plastic utensils on floor behind nightstand,chips and crumbs loose in desk drawer.cabinets that fridge and microwave on bowing in and chipped along base, water stains on ceiling tiles, swirl marks on tv,chair ripped, couch from 1970s. So not worth the money"
