"The lake front cabin is just as described and very private for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of room for all of us. Having a door to separate the 2 spaces gave the kids one half of the house and we utilized the loft with the large bathroom on the other side which made it more private and had the lake view. We used the dock and kayaks every day and fished and swam as the weather was perfect. We definitely recommend this property and will book again in the future!"

"Great Lakefront House. The room layout is unique but it worked for our group (3 families in town for a travel baseball tournament). Great access to fishing and kayaks and plenty of room to have a group meal. The kids and families had a great time."

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"The bus was cute, a lot of reviews are complaining about bugs and spiders, but I don't know what people are expecting with a bus in the woods. There's also a lot of complaints about mould on the curtains, however the state is humid and I didn't see any mould, just rust stains on the curtains. Which isn't dirty, it just seems like par for the course. The bus was clean, there were plenty of tools to cook with and a fridge. The biggest complaint I had was the mattress is old and not very...

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lazy days. The cabin is fully stocked and very comfortable. The property management was a delight to work with and we will definitely be coming back"

"This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. "This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. "
