"The room smelt like cigarette smoke, the hand basin wasn’t wiped clean and there was pie pastry on the floor behind the bathroom door. The continental blanket on the single bed had awful marks on it as well. When I checked in they asked me to pay for a room I had pre-paid online."

"We loved this property! Very clean and comfortable. Great location to aquarium and beach; however, note that the closest beach is not swimable, as advised by signage. The beach is lovely and a great place for walking or flying a kite. Great communication with owner, early check in granted to accommodate working schedule, and milk in the fridge. Lovely stay and hope to return!"

"This is a charming character cottage, clean , comfortable and well-equipped. The only downside-and it was a disappointment that we had not been warned-was the very noisy roadworks on the boundary of the property which last until July 2026. Heavy machinery was operating all day, starting at 07.30, spoiling the tranquility of the garden."
