"When we showed up at this small resort on the Gulf of Thailand, they were not expecting us and they didn't speak any English, but, not to worry, they got the owner on the phone and cleared up the misunderstanding and rushed to prepare our rooms. It was mid week and we had the entire resort to ourselves. It was a bit outside of town and we quickly realized that it would be best if we could eat dinner and breakfast at the resort.
