Vacaciones en Pteri

Had an absolute amazing time at My Suite in Anthousa. The area is a few miles outside of Parga and is a lovely little village with about 6 restaurants. My Suite is a small boutique hotel with a to-die-for view, of a valley of olive groves leading to the sea. The pool area is beautiful and very luxurious. While we were there, there were only a few people around the pool at any one time. We stayed in the corner room on the top floor, which had a large balcony. The view was spectacular. It was just a standard room, but had everything we needed, including a hidden kitchen area and the bed was super comfy. We had maid service everyday and the whole place was spotless. On our last day there were only us and another couple there, so we were shown the suites on the second floor. These were amazing and absolutely beautiful. Apparently the beds in these are even more comfortable. All the staff were super helpful and really friendly. Olympia on the front desk was a great help with recommendations, as was Christina on the later shift. The lady who ran the kitchen (I’m appalled that I can’t remember her name😬) was absolutely lovely. She always made sure you got what you wanted for breakfast. She also doubled up as a housekeeper, after her breakfast shift, so was super hard working. I would 100% recommend this hotel, if you’re after a more civilised, quieter holiday in a beautiful place. We explored the area by hiring a moped for a week. We had a fantastic time taking in the views.

Fantastiskt beläget hotell, nära till badstrand med snorkelmöjlighet och bra pool. Extra plus är den lilla ön som ligger på simavstånd. Rum med magisk utsikt från balkongen. Luktade lite gammal cigarettrök i rummet, bra att veta om man är känslig för det. Annars väl disponerat rum och sköna sängar. Trevlig restaurang med relativt bra utbud och tillmötesgående personal. Tyvärr är restaurangen endast öppen för takeaway/room service på kvällen vilket är synd då utbudet av restauranger på gångavstånd i området är begränsat i övrigt. Taxi till närliggande byar (Persika och Sivota) kostar ca 30 € tur och retur. Allt som allt en härlig vistelse!

I loved the location and how big the room was. We had booked a suit with see view, however see view was minimal. The room wasn’t very clean, we found leftover fruit in the fridge from previous guest and kettle was full of scale, it was so dirty that we actually had to go out and buy white vinegar in order to clean it as we were boiling water for our baby. The cot provided initially was broken and the base had to be changed to one that was okay. We had booked half board, food was tasty, however not many choices available and we did end up to eat out more than half of our stay. In general it was just okay but left us disappointed, not even once we were asked if everything was alright or if there was anything else that we would need. I wouldn’t go back there, I would prefer to have spend a bit more money and choose one of the hotels by the beach.

All turned out great! My warmest thanks to the owner and his wonderful family for their great service to me personally.
