"I enjoyed everything about this quaint little cabin. It was the perfect way to peacefully enjoy the outdoors, watching the river flow, while sitting on the deck, by the fire. "

"The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall. "

"We came up for a wedding and had trouble finding a hotel room because of a concert being the same weekend! So we looked on VRBO, and I’m so happy we did! Chelsey was super accommodating and flexible and made an exception for our *slightly* larger group to stay since it was mostly kids and let us check out late on Sunday so we didn’t have to find something to do for 3 hours in between check-out and meeting a family member for lunch! The house was clean, she had snacks waiting for us in a basket...

"This is an amazing place to stay with great views and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. I would say the only thing to make sure you do is read the entire listing and make sure you read about the pet rules. Although, this place states to be pet friendly, it is not a pet friendly place for people with animals that are part of the family. The pets are not allowed on any furniture or in the bedrooms, so if your fur baby always sleeps with you, then you will definitely have issues! Other...

"This was a perfect place for a relaxing "girl's" weekend - we've been friends for over five decades and are from different parts of the country so this was a perfect place to catch up. We took advantage of the spectacular river views from the deck on a daily basis. It was too warm for the hot tub, but maybe next time..."

"We picked the wrong location and initially decided we couldnt go but changed plans in order to go to the property and was so happy we did. The host was super accommodating and overall seemed such a good person. The property was beautiful and had on premises anything you needed to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend!"

"I was visiting friends in town and wanted a place nearby for a few days. Everything about our stay here was wonderful. Not only was it spacious, clean and cozy, it was also charming with lots of sweet decorative touches throughout. The neighborhood is quiet, and I was close to everything I needed. If you are visiting Geneseo and need a quaint, relaxing place, I highly recommend this welcoming abode."

"River’s Edge was perfect for our trip. We spent the week at a golf tournament at TPC Deere Run and this location was great. The house is very clean and inviting. The deck was amazing! We had rain a few days during our stay, so the covered deck, view and fire pit were perfect. Highly recommend this location and will definitely be back for any future trips. "

"What you see in the pictures is what you get. It's obviously not super modern or up to date but it is a beautiful area and it has everything you need for a quiet getaway. We would definitely stay again and throughly enjoyed the wildlife and beautiful views of the river. It reminded me of going to the deer lease with my dad growing up. "

"This house was fantastic! It has everything; coffee, wine, towels, mugs, silverware, and even plastic baggies for my traveling ball players! If we are ever in the area again , we will choose this house!"

"As pictured, this quaint cozy cottage was perfect for our brief stay in Le Claire. Kristy is a terrific host-quick to respond to the questions we had. An easy walk to shops and dining, the cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely deck. The kitchen is well equipped and thoughtfully organized and the bathroom is plenty roomy and has a terrific shower head. If in the area, we will definitely stay again."
