Lujo y perros

2 dormitorios, 3/4 baño, WiFi, TV por cable, aire acondicionado / calefacción, área de la estación de café / cocina, refrigerador de tamaño pequeño (cafetera, tetera, microondas, tostadora y platos) terraza privada con mesa para 4 y con Parrilla de barbacoa y quemador lateral. Ubicado en 3 acres y espaldas a la tierra del parque. 3 minutos a pie del brazo de Kootenay con una larga playa de arena.

Estamos localizando en una parte mágica de Kootenay. Con fácil acceso al senderismo, ciclismo de montaña, paseos en bote, deportes acuáticos, aguas termales, panaderías locales, cafeterías, mercado dominical y parques regionales.

Hay una abundancia de vida silvestre. Vemos ciervos de cola blanca todos los días. Hay pájaros de todo tipo; águilas, garzas azules, patos, gansos, pavos y aves azules de temporada. En las montañas de los alrededores puede tener la suerte de ver alces u osos negros. Por la noche ocasionalmente puedes escuchar a los coyotes.

El tren todavía pasa nuestro lugar dos veces al día. El horario de verano generalmente es alrededor del mediodía y una vez en la noche.

Perro amigable para perros amistosos. Las mascotas deben estar en la ruina (entrenarse para ir al baño) y socializarse para estar cerca de las personas y otros perros.

Sugerimos que recoja los artículos de abarrotes para su estadía antes de salir. Estamos a 24 km (15 millas) de Nelson.

Great suite

Clean, well-kept, and well supplied with cookware, linen, etc. Beautiful yard with excellent views of mountains across river. Great path down to the water. Hosts were friendly and sociable. All in all - excellent.

Wonderful Vacation

Home away from home!

Everything was just excellent! This place totally exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy with a host greeting you. Property is huge and has gorgeous views of the mountains and lake scenery. We had two dogs with us and they didn't want to leave and were very sad when we got home. Whatever we needed the property had, just felt like it is your own place and you coming back for vacation all the time. Hosts are super friendly, can answer any questions and provide more information on anything. The property is definitely a "comeback"!

Sweet and simple luxury

Thank you, Polly and Tony, for sharing your piece of heaven. The activity of the birds and deer during early morning coffee on the lawn was so entertaining. The view is spectacular! The stroll to the lake was easy. We found everything we needed in the cabin. The small kitchen was a delight as we gals knew that our stay would give us a week away from involved kitchen work. The beds were so luxurious. Most of all we appreciated your hospitality. Everything was so easy from booking, to check-in, and for contact with you during our stay. We will most definitely be back!

A great family & dog friendly place!

This property was perfect for our family vacation to the area. Polly and Tony were kind, welcoming and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The deck was a perfect space for us to eat meals and play card games in the evening. The beach was a short, easy walk along a mowed path and was very private - we only encountered other people there one time in four days. The cabin, yard and beach were very dog-friendly and our golden retriever had the time of his life. The Procter Village Cafe, just a short drive away was also a highlight for their cinnamon buns and Friday night pizza! We would absolutely stay at this property again. Thank-you for your hospitality Polly & Tony (and Nia)!

Paradise on the lake

We had a great time at this property. Huge acreage with meticulously maintained golf field quality grass ,access to the private beach ,comfortable beds,plenty of towels and nice sized bathroom and bedrooms. Our dog had a blast running unleashed and chasing Frizbee .With everything so great and good kitchen lacked some space and bigger fridge.Thank you Tony and Polly for your hospitality

Peaceful, serene , just a beautiful space Polly and Tony could not have been more accommodating, very generous and friendly. The only issue we had was the small fridge and kitchen. That was only because with our group it’s all about the food. However , we did make it work So all good

Relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful scenery

We had an awesome time here! The hosts Tony and Polly, were very kind and accommodating for us during our entire stay. Our cabin was cleanly maintained and well stocked. The space is tranquil and the beds are some of the most comfortable that we ever had! Their labrador is a wonderful girl whose company was always welcome. It was a pleasure to watch deer walking through the field. Nelson is a little ways away but well worth the travel (tons of beautiful scenery). We look forward to a return trip!

Amazing Stay

During this time of Covid, we explored our home province and visited the Kootneys, which we have never seen. The house was very clean, and we felt very comfortable there. It was extremely hot during our visit, 37C (99F) and the air conditioning and fans worked wonderfully to keep it cool. The fridge is small, but we made it work and the only thing I missed in the kitchen was a teapot! Polly and Tony were fabulous hosts, as well as their beautiful dog Niya. There was lots to see in the area and we especially enjoyed ziplining at Kokanee Mountain Zipline.

Amazing stay, hospitality & views!

From previsit to check out we had a terrific experience at the Rabbit Hutch and Polly and Tony made our vacation truly memorable. We were blown away by the cottage and all of the space outside. We had gracious hosts and our lab loved Nia, his new girlfriend. Had the time of our life and will be back again for sure!

Dog Paradise

Polly, Tony, & Ria were gracious hosts. they were a very interesting couple to talk with. the property and views were very nice. Hamish (dog) had a great playmate in Ria, and they both had tons of open space to run. We particularly liked the secluded beach nearby.

From weather, to wildlife, to location, to all the little extras - perfect!

Great stay with a well appointed, nicely set up suite and property. Our experience matched the description and all other reviewers. Not only was it as advertised, but the provision of little extras for the people and for the dog were much appreciated. Note: others mentioned the limited kitchen area, which is true, but we had no problem by making use of the barbecue and patio. All good! Great hosts + a beautiful spot made for a terrific week!

Very pleasant stay

Tony and Polly were very pleasant and welcoming hosts wanting to be sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We did enjoy our stay at the Rabbit Hutch very much. We were busy out and about so not able to really take advantage of the beautiful property as we would have liked. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the bedding soft and cozy. A quaint cozy home cradled in nature, woke up to a herd of deer with their fawns grazing under the peach tree in the property...Poly and Tony are wonderful people and their persona in felt in every moment of the stay...will come back many times

great relaxing time in Harrop

Very relaxing time at the property and surrounding area. Our dog enjoyed playing on the beach and trying to catch the deer that would wander on and off property. Great location to base exploring other areas of the Kootenays. Polly and Tony are great hosts and very welcoming. Nya the Lab who calls this property home was a great playmate for our dog as well. We only stayed 4 nights and will in all likelihood stay here again.
