Comfortably furnished with great attention to detail, this first-floor condo with stairs to entry, is truly fabulous. Near the edge of a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean, this condo also commands spectacular views Bali Hai, the north shore landmark made famous in "South Pacific."

The spacious lanai is very inviting. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful panorama while tropical breezes gently caress you. Here is an ideal place to have a morning cup of coffee or cool beverage any time in total comfort and, of course, enjoy the sky's varied hues at sunset. Many windows also bring this sensational scenery indoors.

A telescope has been thoughtfully provided to enhance distant views and offer the opportunity to see, up close, an occasional boat sailing by as well as Kauai's marine life. Frequently, playful dolphins offshore can be seen "showing off." During winter, giant humpback whales visit the Hawaiian Islands from Alaska to the delight of visitors and kama'aina alike.

In Princeville, there is a wonderful variety of restaurants with delicious cuisine and tempting menus. A short drive down the hill takes you to Hanalei, a charming town with many small shops and galleries as well as additional delectable eateries. No doubt, you will want to spend time at the crescent-shaped beach at Hanalei Bay, one of the nation's most highly rated beaches.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate having two world-class courses right in Princeville -- Prince Golf Course and Makai Golf Course, both designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. If tennis is more to your liking, feel free to play on the courts right at Pu'u Poa.

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, flightseeing, shopping, tennis and golf.

description of Ocean Front is not accurate… It was impossible for us to get to the beach and very treacherous. There is also 3 levels of stairs to get to the condo…. Carrying luggage up and down was very hard. construction in parking lot closed our parking area… Strong mildew smell when we checked in. and at times the guest bathroom has a sewer odor

We had a wonderful stay. The condo exceeded our expectations! It is very large and decorated very nicely. The windows overlook the ocean from two sides and offer the most amazing large views. Wow! Wow! Kitchen well equiped, lots of towels and beach toys. We appreciated the chairs, umbrella, cooler and adult snorkel gear.Very well cleaned and move in ready when we arrived. Will definitely stay here again.

Must stop at mgmt office in Lihue to pick up keys (and return at departure), even tho there's a lockbox on front door of condo. Lots of parking.ALL units require going up/down steps to access since complex is built into a hill. For this unit you go down three 8-step flights.Mgmt responded positively and promptly to our request to address goose droppings on porch. windows were all spotless. This is ground-level unit, from which you can walk out onto grass and to the cliff (only a dozen yds away). Thus, a little less privacy (neighbors walk along cliff) but that’s small price to pay for incredible views.This unit offers absolutely best, breathtaking, views of Bali Hai and Napali coast, especially impressive at sunset.TVs/DVD players in living room & both bdrms. Wi-Fi easy to access, reasonably fast (up to 120 mbps off-peak, about 50 when busy).Several interior doors were split/peeling. Otherwise, facilities in good condition.Master shower huge, great water flow from showerhead, could use some grab bars. Bathroom exhaust fans a little noisy. A master bath sink drained very slowly.We also had a minor problem with bugs in the unit. Lots of plates/silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc. Lots of knives, but sadly none were sharp. Lots of outlets for charging. AC worked great. No recycling bins. Highly recommended

Great stay! Condo was nice! Love that you added the beach chairs. They are a must when staying in Princeville! Views were stunning. Perfect for our family of 4! Beach was close but a steep walk….worth it if your up for the hike! Husband loved the golf course! Overall greatVacation!

Amazing location!!

The property was ideal for our family of 4. It was located right in a very quiet area and at the end on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Best part, sunrise AND sunset views so spectacular that guests from the other surrounding units would come over to enjoy the views with us. Very highly recommend this to anyone seeking to be in the Princeville area!

The locations is amazing. The view is stunning. The condo is very spacious. We snorkeled at Hideaways beach, surfed Hanalei beach, hiked, explored, and relaxed. The coffee and view from 1Hotel next door is very good.

Gorgeous Views in Princeville

This condo has it all. A/C, washer, dryer, and all accessories, appliances…plus, being a corner unit, there is a panoramic view of Mount Makana (Bali Hai) out the back, and Pali Ke Kua from the kitchen and eating nook. Walking distance from 1 Hotel Hanalei, as well as Hanalei Bay Resort. Near great restaurants, and above Hideaways Beach. Wonderful location in Princeville!

Fantastic location and condo layout

Aside from the potential difficulties for some individuals of 30 stair-steps (6 up, 24 down to go from the parking lot to the front door), this is a very nice condominium with stunning, unobstructed sunset views from the living room & lanai and great northern views from the dining room for whale watching. It was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing, with the wonderful benefit of being visited by three to five Nenes every day!

The location was everything we wanted. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Being able to sit outside and hear, smell, and see the ocean was incredible. Every window had a view. A few steps to the trail for Hideaways beach was the cherry on top. Can't say enough good things.

Amazing Views but in need of work

I rented the unit for the views and it didn't disappoint! Beda were comfortable and the shower is awesome. The kitchen looks to be newly updated and it was nice to cook meals in. The problem arose with the overall condition, cleanliness and lack of repair. Almost all the windows have tears in the screen, the screens don't close correctly which leaves gaps so there are flies, gnats, ants and roaches no matter how clean we were. The first day I had to vacuum because when we checked in there were cobwebs and dead bugs. Empty wine bottles in cupboards, etc. The closets are almost unusable because they are filled with junk. Same with several kitchen cupboards. Overall we loved the view and kitchen. But disappointed with the rest.

The condo was in a great location for exploring Princeville. Everything was clean and stocked with what we needed to enjoy our stay. You can’t beat the view and stargazing from the front yard and lanai. Would stay here again.

Getting away!

My wife and I needed to get away as part of an early anniversary celebration. This was a perfect place for us. Great views, quiet and relaxing, gentle sounds of the ocean and roomy. Loved being on north shore this trip and proximity to Hanalei was great. Will look at this property again next trip!

We have stayed in Pu'u Poa several times, but we loved 112 the best due to the incredible views and being on the ground floor that provided extended living space on the grassy area. We also enjoyed the fact that there were additional views from the dining area which brought in cross ventilation to keep things cool. We are looking forward to returning to this location...and for a longer time.

Pictures don’t do it justice

Unparalleled sunsets with Nepali coast to your left and Pacific at your feet. Not to mention snorkeling on Hideaway beach directly below you as well. Excellent location. Staff/management was also very responsive to fixing a ceiling fan (these are critical as indoor climate is dependent upon air circulation without A/C - the natural breeze through the large screen doors kept it very comfortable). Great spot for families with small kids. Would stay here again in a heart beat!
