The resort was outstanding. Complain I have that it was still in an understandable state of this way due to the recent hurricane. The Jim and the restaurant we are available to Storm and I was going in otherwise the staff was outstanding

Wasn't sure what to expect at first but this resort exceeded our expectations. The vibe was excellent. The staff extremely welcoming. The facilities and rooms were perfect. Location was fantastic. And that overlook for the sunsets were breathtaking. We stayed at another resort afterwards and it was so underwhelming which made our feelings about Hanalei Bay Resort that much more confirming.

One bedroom set up with kitchen was perfect for my family of three. We loved the balconies watching rainbows in the morning and having a drink in the evening. Kitchen was great for breakfast and a couple dinners for convenience and cost savings

We moved to Hanalei Bay Resort mid-vacation and wow are we happy we did ! True resort with lively swim/snorkel beach, restaurants and bar on site, beautiful immaculate private lodging with full kitchen and A/C and the most comfortable bed- HB Resort is truly that- a destination resort- with the most gorgeous grounds, tennis, pickle ball and truly amazing lagoon pool - beautiful views as well! Delicious food at both restaurants, easy parking and check in- staff were so helpful and stayed in touch via text during our stay- highly r recommend - a perfect vacation

I would return to this property again, the lodging was clean and well kept, the views were spectacular, the walk to the beach was wonderful.

Beautiful resort; loved the accomodations and amenities; staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of parking even though guests pay extra for it.

Overall, pretty good value stay. The views and beach access are amazing (and are what you are paying for). The restaurants do not open until 3pm, and the bar restaurant is not even open some days. We weren’t aware of this going into it, and most food places are a 10-15 minute drive away. The pool area is decent, nothing special. Room was spacious and nice. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

The resort was beautiful. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The person who checked us in didn’t give us directions to our room( only a map) and she didn’t tell us there was a service to take us to room. The resort is very big. We could find our room, until a staff member on a cart took us to our room.

Rooms were clean, nice beds, no house keeping which was fine. Awesome pool. My biggest complaint was that the restaurant and bar opened at 3pm daily and was completely closed on Tuesday. There are lots of vacation rentals in the area the restaurants on the property need to be open, there are not enough restaurants nearby.

Pros: Amazing resort - photos don’t do justice Lots of trails around the property for a morning walk/jog Beach it’s located on is easy to reach and beautiful. We were able to walk and swim from it down to the pier. Rooms are large and the full kitchen was nice for making food for the kids. Resort lends itself to families and multi-generational travel. Definitely an older crowd at this hotel. Cons: Room only gets cleaned every other day. No early check in - starts at 4PM and that’s firm. 15 mins to most restaurants and no fast food on that side of the island. Fairly secluded - even to get to Anini beach it’s 20-25 min drive Overall- would recommend but only for a few nights then move to a new location to explore a new part

Very nice place. The staff is what made it the best. Especially the golf car guys. Pool was fabulous. Beach was beautiful. Golf cart guys are needed for the ones who cannot walk up and down a nice paved trail The condo had everything we needed. The only one down size was the 2 restaurants on the grounds did not open until 3pm. So getting a cocktail or soft drink, by the pool at 12 noon was a no.

We love Hanalei Bay resort. We especially appreciate the Tennis Pro, Mary, at Hanalei Bay Resort. Mary is the top reason of many that we choose to stay at Hanalei Bay Resort.

The property and the pool is beautiful. i like how we can use beach chairs and towels for no charge but was surprised we had to pay for a yoga class. Also i didn’t know there was no housekeeping for guests only for owners. although we could pay a lot of money to get the room cleaned. Nice how they have free shaved ice or virgin drinks on different days. Love the golf cart to/from the beach. Love how close it is to Hanelei. Overall it was a great stay.

Beautiful property sitting right on Hanalei Bay. Views of the mountains at sunset during dinner at the pizza restaurant were breathtaking. Not too far from hiking trails. I’m an outdoors person so this location was ideal for me. I was able to take the shuttle from the Makai Club to Haena State Park. The Maika Club was only a mile away. I loved every moment of being at this resort. There’s a koi fish pond right in front at check in and at night there’s tiki torches that light the property. It’s such a unique resort that pays special attention to detail.
