  • Hanalei Bay Resort es un Resort de 5 estrellas y es ampliamente considerado como uno de los mejores lugares para alojarse en Kauai. 8231 está idealmente situado en el edificio Plumeria en el "punto" de este Resort de 22 acres que le ofrece vistas espectaculares. Esta habitación del hotel tiene algunas de las mejores vistas de todo Kauai. Las vistas despejadas de la bahía de Hanalei y una vista panorámica de las montañas de 4000 pies con cascadas son suyas cuando mira o sale al lanai privado. Una de las raras vistas sin obstáculos dejadas en Kauai. Desde el lanai se pasa por alto un santuario de aves protegido mientras observa y escucha las olas de aguas blancas de la bahía de Hanalei.

The studio was thoughtfully appointed, but could use some updates. Lots of extension cords! There were lots of property fees ( check in fee, parking, resort fees) that we weren’t completely prepared for. The resort is fun, lots of activities and lovely location, but because it is on a bluff over the beach - there are lots of hills to negotiate. The views are fantastic, and the hills are worth it - but just be prepared to walk uphill.

Very nice place with a terrific view on the mountain side and far west of Hanalei Bay Beach . One of the best place to be in HBR.The owner is very easy to reach whenever we had a question. We would love to come in the future !

The apartment is nice . It’s a beautiful setting with beautiful views , but not “the view” from the balcony. It is a walk and climb back to the lobby from the apartment . They do have transportation to get around the resort if needed. We used it for bringing the luggage. Maybe why the price is very reasonable. I didn’t realize until the end ,when looking for an easier path to the lobby , of our stay that the bamboo blinds do not give enough privacy. Not sure if it mattered , but I became conscious when in front of the window after the discovery.

The room itself was very nice and offered wonderful views. However, the walking distance from the parking lot to the unit was not disclosed in the listing. It turned out to be quite a walk, which would have been helpful to know in advance when planning.That said, the resort does offer valet golf cart service, which makes getting to and from the unit easier — just be prepared to budget extra for tips.

Had a wonderful stay here. The view from this room was amazing - so nice to watch the sun rise from bed. The room was clean, as described and in a unit near the bottom of the property which provided more privacy. Resort fees were higher than advertised which was the only down side.

The view from our balcony was phenomenal, the resort was in a fantastic location to visit beautiful Kauai beaches, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The property that this condo is at is wonderful. This unit is the master bedroom. It appears of a larger condo,so there’s no real kitchen. It worked for us because a piece of toast, a cup of coffee and somewhere to put some cold drinks Was fine. A sliding wardrobe closet is a makeshift kitchen so the biggest problem we had was there was nowhere to put your clothes, we like things neat and tidy. If you’re OK with living out of a suitcase or backpack it’s fine, but this was a leg of a two week trip.There is a nice view from the corner balcony. You are in paradise so how can you complain about that? Just be ready for a small space..The pool area is really nice, and they walked down to the beach was our favorite. There are two restaurants on the property. There are stores nearby. It’s very convenient to downtown Hanalei Bay, but it’s not in Hanalei Bay. It’s more like Princeville. Every morning we woke up to the birds chirping and the roosters morning calls. We were out and about and we don’t spend that much time in the room. We enjoyed our stay.

Plus included a comfortable bed and I could hear the ocean. The unit needs deep cleaned, painted and the running toilet fixed. The attempt to provide kitchen amenities is sad and the furnishings and linens need replaced.
