"Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

"The room was nice and clean everything was available that was needed. They upgraded me to a family room at no extra cost because I had my 1 year old grandson with me they even provided a travel cot for him I would highly recommend "

"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."

"We had such a lovely time in Deal. The hotel with its great location, excellent food and drinks. Clean rooms, although the cushions by the window seat and walls may need a repaint due to damp. The nuts at breakfast also need to be replaced. Other than that, we would definitely stay again and recommend anyone to stay. Thank you. "
