"Basic hotel with excellent service and a nice complimentary breakfast. No extras (e.g. restaurant, gym, office centre) but everything was clean and staff were super friendly. The hotel is in an industrial area with a few restaurants nearby. I was travelling on my own and was satisfied with the hotel."

"Nice view of Lake Superior from my 5th (top) floor, even though I asked for a ground floor room (since I’m traveling with my puppy dog!). The outside noise (3 train tracks & a major road) was a bit much too. But, since I will probably never be back in Thunder Bay I did enjoy the walk down by the dock and the people were nice and friendly. "

"This property is clean and tidy in all areas. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a nice sports bar/restaurant a short walk one minute walk from the hotel. They offer a complimentary breakfast that had a variety of hot and cold options. They also welcome pets at a reasonable fee of $15.00. Will definitely stay here again."

"The pool and hot tub were great. The jets in the hot tub weren't working, but the temperature was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed by the breakfast - would have appreciated some protein like hot eggs, bacon or sausage. The room was nice and everything was clean. Lots of parking available. "

"Free breakfast was good and had great selection. Front desk staff was friendly. Our breakfast however did take a while to come out on the second morning and was cold by the time we got it. There was a dog howling on the second morning (possibly thin walls)."

"This Ramada was packed full of evacuees from the fires raging in Canada. So, they were short on staff and supplies. Easy to understand. However, the hotel is in dire need of a full-time maintenance team. Our ceiling light had several burned-out bulbs in it. The shower fan looked like it would fall from the ceiling any minute as it was hanging by power cords and was not secured in the ceiling. But we were happy to have any room at this point and the breakfast and breakfast team were...
