"This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. "

"The house is great. Many neat touches. Owners spent a lot of time and effort to make a nice home. Crossing the railroad tracks to get to lake added to the experience. Only item that makes us not give it a 10 rating is the stairs to the door from parking area. Suggestion would be a landing area to manage luggage and top stair needs to be leveled."

"The place is excellent location, 30 minutes to Seward. The place is clean and cute. It is relaxing to sleep listening to the creek next to it. It was a nice experience."

"The cabin was great, bigger than expected, we had plenty of room for 6 to eat together. The whole experience exceeded our expectations, the grounds were beautiful and well kept, we will be back soon!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Pinecone Palace. It was a great location, close to many hiking trails and lakes as well as to the local restaurants in Seward. Host communicated well and made everything easy."

"The was the perfect tiny cabin for my husband and I to stay in for our two nights in Seward. The shower was amazing and good hot water. Sheets and blankets were very soft. Internet was great."

"Great place would rent again"

"This cabin seriously blew me away with the uniqueness that it was built with. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again! "

"As someone who does not camp, glamp, or RV as a part of their vacations, I was pleasantly surprised by this experience. I honestly had booked this glamping experience because other than the hostel it was the cheapest option when we were planning the Seward leg of our Alaskan adventure. The campsite has a great lay out and we loved seeing all the different tent/cabin styles. "Fun, functional and fabulous! Everything you need: Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, W/D, firepit and outdoor cookout area... anc a super helpful landlord! Gorgeous sportsman themed accommodation. Very close drive to downtown Seward. Highly, highly recommended."

"The salmon house was a lovely and comfortable place with everything by you could need for a stay. My Dad and I stayed 2 nights and were very happy. The beds were comfortable, everything was extremely clean and it has a nice view of the mountains to the west. Lori was an amazing host and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this location for your next trip to Seward. "
